ok, just got back from work, still no sleep from yesterday, picked up some oil, and a magnetic drain plug, will change and go to sleep. will pull the plugs tomorrow and follow as many recommendations as possible. will buy 6 coil pack connectors off ebay. will check/resolder ptu if needed or suggested...i also noticed some insulation on a tube by the intake balance tube or something -again i'm a zero with cars- has melted half of itself off. anyways i'm starting to run on fumes myself and my brain is just not cooperating so i will get with the oil change and pass out.
This is true. But at the end of the day, if the fault is still there and not fixed - the next time you turn on your ecu, it will detect the same error and show up again. So you need to find the problem, fix it - then reset your ecu to stop it appearing again.

Please Sami_la... Take most of what these guys are saying with a grain of salt. For those of us that have been around here a few years know that some of the guys here can generally talk shit - aswell as offer helpful advice. So if someone makes a comment about canadians, or having sex with your car - take it in jest. as the internet is a bad communicator of sarcasm/humour at the best of times. I'm not sure about the start 30 times thing to clear the error codes because i only use Datascan to clear them, but if disconnect the battery of a night before you go to bed, when you wake up in the morning and re-connect the battery your ECU will have reset itself. So from that point, if you start your car and errors are still there- that means you still have the source of the problem to fix as your ECU is still picking up the error code.
