hmm true i hadnt looked at it that way really.. however.. when everyone starts to personalise using a certain product and it becomes almost like factory produced. im guessing it wouldnt make your car feel that "personalised" if every over ZX you saw had the same part. I dont mind the look of the ferrari rear lights.. however i dont think id ever put them on a ZX.
another problem with the Ferrari lights it coppers, they dont usually care that its not stock, but more the face that only one of the two rings on each side is lighting up
I'll remove my Stillen Centre Panel immediately(and my Abflug front bar)neither of which depart from the original design cues(but are NOT factory fitted), the rest is bog standard Z32.:zlove::zlove:
I see the similarity between the f40 copy and the 25th ani (both stillen) but originally i referred to 300ZX owners with the f40 wing on their car...which is based on the f40's wing as you know. the 25th ani wing has nothing to do with this discussion....as it isnt a ferrari copy...you should be referring tot he stillen f40 wing copy so again, what you are saying about the tail lights can be thrown straight at the stillen 'f40' copy.....you dont see ferrari drivers putting 300zx wings on do you anyway, back on topic....do what you want to do with the rear lights. if all zeds looked the same, you wouldnt be very unique, so if you like the 'ferrari' copy tail lights, get them and put them on
Chili also need to remove A B C D Chili, you will also need to swap over; your rims, your blue interior & race seats, the stereo, the steering wheel, the centre console, the triple gauge dash pod, the bling under the bonnet, the air guide, the pod filter, the turbos (actually better make that the whole engine cause it ain't as it left the factory). Gee getting her back to standard is going to be a bitch :biggrin: Personally, other than the 25th anniversary Stillen special (which is Nissan attempt at personalizing the zed) ... the factory look just lacks something ... hmmm, sole.
It lacks feet? Shoes? Really don't like Ferrari tail lights either, they look tacky and very try-hard, each to their own though, but he did ask opinions, and arguing about those is usually pretty pointless.
2nd lol the 2ks set the zed off totally different to the old orange ones.....it really does seem to transform the zed's ass when upgraded.....makes the worl of different, on all coloured zeds
magic mike has those.....i like it bar the center bit....the 4 ovals look crap imho but on the main tails it looks great

How many people notice my under bonnet bling, when they see my car driving past(and as for my steering wheel, stereo and road wheels....my car came with the factory items already removed, so I didn't have the choice)? BTW, you forgot to mention the battery, spark plugs, oil and fuel filters, engine and transmission oil, and the real biggy THE PETROL!

My point being there is no such thing as a standard zed. My point being there is no such thing as a standard zed. I just do not like when people start calling things GAY or ugly. Writing "I don't like them or not my choice" is a lot better then some of the statements used here. Also when a guy asks for an "opinion" on a forum, is it a bit like a women saying "does this make me look fat" ... what he is looking for is reasons for and against not adjectives. Because not are these adjectives offending that person but also anyone else who already has them installed or was planning to install them.

Why sugar coat it? Perhaps you'd prefer a bunch of yes men (and women) on the forum to legitimise forgone decisions... but I don't think this was the object of this thread. If requested (and sometimes when we aren't).. we will give our opinions, often vehemently. There's no harm in it... don't take offense because your taste don't correspond to the tastes of the greater forum. Oh yeah... Ferrari lights look homosexual (that's the currently accepted P.C term right? )
I like Gonzo's Idea. One would argue that the recessed tail lights of the R34 is a reinterpretation of the typical Ferrari Tail Lights - I think this is true and they've(nissan) made it work pretty well. Personally I'd like to keep the Z heritage and leave it stock, but if you're going to change the appearance at least stick with something that suits your brand of car. Gonzo's idea of making them recessed is great, as it's not quite ferrari like and it doesn't leave any conflicting forms like the protruding ones do.
personally i really think that arse looks so wierd . brazilian and ferrari lights BUT i do love how your rear bar has NO reflectors in it. looks so dam clean love it. did you get this done or was it already done when you got the car??? if you did it how did you go about doing it? did they just bog it up or did they fibreglass it ?
