So i've found out, Justcar said they couldn't give me an online quote, Allianz instantly said no, now AAMI can't give me one either. Though i remember AAMI insurance with a quote in my name for a 300ZX a while ago, it was $5500 a year. What gets me is Justcar insurance is provided by AAMI but at cheaper rates.
more drag though but, insanely good to throw eggs out of, whistling at girls jsut some of the perks eperienced by us zedders also note, no cup holders and a tan line half way down your right arm from to much topless driving good luck
Next year RACQ will be insuring imported cars - when i tried to do my zed, even tho i've been with them since '93, they couldnt do it but they did say if i could hold out til next year they are changing some of the policy stuff to include our babies. ATM ours is with Shannons coz heavytrevy has another car with them and it made it a bit cheaper to have all 3 on there.
NOOO!!!! u need to read the fineprint mate.... excess if u have an accident.. i had to pay $1950 ($750 of it was just for driving a zed) with aami u dont pay that much if u have an acciendnt.. im not saying u will ahve one but u never know..
Im with the NRMA here in NSW and have got a jspec Z and i pay $1000 for full comp with the car insured under mine and my dads name... i called aami when i was getting quotes and they said they wouldnt insure imports(tho if your getting an aus spec that wont be a problem). Just read the fine print, try young and cool insurance as well. $3500 from just crap is bullshit imo...
eally.. then where does hte guy who had my ZX get his.. i think he was with NRMA and he had (well what i got) NA J spec 2+2 targa
I pay like $500 through full comp through NRMA as an additional driver 5 speed 2 seater NA J-spec, and hardtop is more ridget so better than targa oh and no leaks!

Shannons Insurance If you ring Shannons Insurance, and tell them you do less than 5000 ks a year, and the car is basically for a Sunday drive, Locked up in a secure garage, then you can get full comprehensive insurance for around $500 for the first year, and it reduces every year after that. You will however pay extra for the excess if you have an accident. I have two cars insured with them, but I am over 40!!! and closer to 50 than 40!!! with a clean slate. Stu
Ah yeah, don't you have to be over 25 for Shannons though? Or can i get it registered under Dad's name with me listed as a secondary driver?
