Oh, aus specs have a bigger radiator too, which is a bonus

I didn't know that. (Writes it down for future aus spec arguments) ;)

Really? I've never heard that before, but guess it makes sense to put in a bigger radiator for a car destined for warmer climates.

My cousin has an MX5 with removable top, we can both go cruising with our roof off :D except my car will be cooler, faster and not a woman's car.

    Bigger radiator, sounds good.

I've seen a nice looking rear spoiler on some of the cars on this site, the red car in the signature a few posts above has one, are they stock standard? The square looking one.

Yea, I've been fine in my 2+2 NA as well. It nearly killed me a few days ago. :D :zlove:

Would anyone here mind sharing how much they pay for full comprehensive insurance, and who with? (Only if you don't mind sharing that is).

    Thanks!

I'm 20 years older than you and I pay just under $1000 per year with RACV for fully comp with car kept in a locked garage. This reminds me to get my butt into gear and changeover to Shannons.

Wider than a TT or a J-spec NA? I don't think that there is any way that a J-Spec NA radiator could be 6 inches wider and have any hope of fitting...

Dad said he would insure the car under his name with me listed as a second driver, but the price would still probably go through the roof, I got a quote from Justcar a little while back and got quoted $3500 a year which I can afford.

    full comp, j-spec na, $700

thats with "joint ownership" (me and my dad), 1 claim, me 19yo, dad-old fart :p, gotta love skabbing parents rating 1 for life:eek::D

been looking into my next car (s15 200sx) and i can get it for $600 a year with same arrangement:confused: a bit weird considering its 10 years newer, costs twice as much and alot faster than my NA...

Hmm, Dad is a rating one for life too. Is your car modded? It seems to be a good idea to get the car listed under Dad's name, i pay for the car, rego, insurance and maintenence.

didnt i link you to my for sale thread before . yes modded, but only wheels and exhaust listed for insurance. They had no issues paying a $5500 claim with no mods listed though (even though car was same bar suspension mods at the time)

Sorry about that, forgot. Even with those modifications they didn't go troppo? I just ticked wheels on Allianz insurance listed under my Dad's name and it got rejected straight away.

P.S I hate the AAMI insurance website, they clearly cannot follow formats and conventions.
