Just wondering if anyone has installed the high beam bulbs yet? I can see how the main beam is a walk thru, but the high beam has a different mounting system and the new H1 bulb can not be secured in place as it comes. I'm thinking I'll have to dremel the existing high beam bulb mount to help hold the new bulb in place but anyone that has done it and has some advice would be very appreciated.
Hi Guys. I just got my parcel today, and I'm currently perusing the manual. I don't have access to my car at the moment, and as I've never touched the headlights, I'm not sure if the low-beam kit installation requires the drilling (25mm, 8mm) that the manual recommends. For those of you who've installed the low-beam kit, is it fairly straightforward (i.e., no extra tools needed besides common-sense?) Also, where did you attach the brackets etc.? Cheers, Joseph
I need install help too my concern is more with the plugs though... Was trying to install the kit minus the relay but the instructions show a lovely little closed circuit where the globe connects to the ballast which is in turn connected back to the globe, thus leaving no where to connect to the loom... speaking of the loom how the hell does it plug in at all as i fail to see any plugs provided that will connect to the loom, either on the globe, ballast or relay kit. I am right in assuming the kit connects to the old loom connection yes? or do I have to change the connection or something??? any help appreciated! cheers, Tim.
