Plan was to get a 2+2 kaminari kit and cut it down for a 2+0, but the member who was going to purchase the kit decided to get a 2+0 from COS shipped in a box for $600 and left me with nothing to make molds of. So there are no plans to do a rear bar or side skirts at this point.
I agree that it is an awesome looking wing but unfortunately It will be 3 part mold that will take many hours to manufacture. Just doing the labor number in my head they would be at least $500. There would need to be a decent EOI (10+) of people who are willing to buy at that price before I would consider it. I am at a stage of business where there are plenty of things I would love to make but there is no point putting the time and money into a mold if there is only a small market. It is this reason that the roof wings have not been completed yet. Looking at the EOI, Im likey to only sell 5 yet I have easily put $200 into the design already. How ever I am a man of my word and I will complete the mold as I said I would. Plus there is no way that pex will let me attack his wing. I would need it for a few weeks. However please dont stop your suggestions. There are many things I have not thought of and appreciate your input. I have just finished a mold for carbon fiber timing belt covers for the MX5. This is my first venture into CF and if the item is successful I may consider making some for the zed. (provided there is a market for them) I also have interested parties in CF ferring kits for bikes I would like to make some CF targas for the racers among us. There are a good handfull of sprinters and draggers with us who would pay for them. But I will start an EOI when the time comes;.
What if we did get that number? 5 people interested without even an EOI! Just call Overhaulin'. They'll "steal" the car for you I can't think of any suggestion better than that wing why not market it overseas as well? bet my left nut it'd sell there as well. YES YES ME WANT PLEEEEASE and CF fan shroud as well. i know they're already made elsewhere but they're prob'ly way too expensive. Those ones I posted are real. As far as I know, nobody makes replicas. That's the problem!

New (insomuch as I haven't heard anyone propose it as of yet) idea, ztoy. Manufature a clone of the Veilside EC1 spoiler!!! These aren't a readily available piece and I'm sure a lot of people would be in for one if it were to go to production :zlove:
What we should do is get a bunch of people (however many want to get a copy made) to put in to buy a genuine EC1 spoiler from somewhere (Or we could get someone to try their hand at making one from nothing... just a thought)

+1.....very nice. Haven't seen one before but that is probably the nicest spoiler I have seen for these cars.
Had a quick look on the veilside America and Japan websites and they only have the ugly-as-sin c2 bodykit and sliiightly less ugly c1 kits available. So everyone keep a lookout for any second hand ones that pop up!! I'm sure we can get enough interest to buy it as a group that it'll be cheap even if it has to come from Vladivostok...
