Full steam ahead I am now making the Mold for the drivers box I still work a full time job, So time is precious Pics soon
I will take a Drives side 2+2 when available. I'll also offer my address as a single point drop off for Brisbane/gold/sunshine coast members if it can save freight. People can collect, or I can bring to an event, or for sunny cost people, I can take with me when I go to Gympie next.

They look great. It is a problem to get the right size box and still have some sort of function, ie getting your targas in, which is a must over here as it is rainning again. This was my solution. Excuse the saw dust but mine are mad from wood and MDF. Not that good with fibreglass. Covered in sound dedening and real leather. Darrell
Hey guys, I haven't forgotten about these, it's taken a bit longer than anticipated to get the molds right due to work etc I'm currently making the first box using the drivers side mold, and will post pics as soon as it's done The passengers side mold will be complete this weekend
/me touches pete, wander if these could do a 15" hole? but my subs have huge magnets dont think the mould would even be deep enough?
12" Was a stretch You are not the only one who wants 15" boxes But jeez can you close the boot with that But these boxes will only take up to a 12" Maybe once i have got most of my other projects complete What are the dimensions?
soundstream being gay as they are, this is all they give you, no paperwork with subs, i duno the xxx's are odd, no info on em http://soundstream.com/subwoofers-xxx.htm but i think mounting depth is about 10" and magnet is about 11" accross oh also any more news on the 6x9 boxes ^_^
I haven't designed the box for the 2+2 yet, but 2 str is slightly raised to allow for a false floor to be used. I'll more than likely do the same thing for the 2+2. Nemz, everything is coming along (slowly) this weekend I'll hopefully have time to work on the 6x9 pods.
awsome, i got harrased by some cop being an arse over the mounting of my current 6x9's even though my engineer cleared, ive taken them out till u finish so patiently waiting
An engineers certificate for 6 x 9 speakers lol,are you serious ??,im suprised they havent put you off the road for the way the rear stereo is set up,it doesnt really look all that secure to me
the 6x9 boxes were bolted down with 3 L brackets and and 12 screws, but just the options to screw them down leaves it with a lil bit of movement, but no chance of dislodging

Peter they are brilliant.... Keep us updated on the 2+2's... If there is enough interest in the 1st gb for the W.A. guys maybe we can post in a lot via courier?? :thumbup:
