1 each side to suit the subs i sent you details of, but i think i will reverse mount them, box size as close as you can get it to desired specs, but i can just fill it with dakron if it is too small so yeah whatever you can do to fit a 2 15" subs in there

yep i will be selling these

I will be plaster casting the passengers side trim's tonight ans starting to make the passenger's box tomorrow
I will start making the molds on the weekend for the pair

The following week i may be able to start making and designing the 2+2 boxes

The prices for the 2+2 boxes should be roughly the same price as the 2 seater enclosures

Almost done with the second box

Then i need to modify the drivers box (first) to suit the better flowing design
Some pictures will be up tomorrow night

But i have quickly calculated the Cubic volume and it it was measured at roughly 30 litres which is 1 Cu ft :D

I have had a few delays this weekend so the molds will be made mid week:rolleyes:

    Some new pictures

Here are pictures of the passenger's side sub box and modified drivers side box
It has a better flow with the boot as suggested and larger cubic volume:D ( i will get a spot-on measurement once they have been sealed)

I know they look bloody rough but they will be as smooth as a baby's butt once i have finished:p :p

    P.s. The targa's are a perfect fit

Fine workmanship Pete
    Just a quick question ;)

For aesthetic reasons u have placed the enclosures in both corners BUT does anybody know how this setup sounds? ARE there any cancellation issues?

The best spot in the Z i believe is between the rear towers firing backwards and angled towards the hatch.(maybee ur next fabrication "Could" be in this placement???)

Anybody care to post there experience with diff sub positions in the rear ?

    Regards
    Trev

ive tried that option trev but depending on your sub the sound can either be good with proper bass quality or sound like shit...for me inside the cabin it sounded shit but stepping outside the car sounded awesome (sub facing out towards the hatch glass)...but when i face the sub down i had excellent sound from the sub and good sound from outside...its all on the type of sub and how big the box it (ie. 30,40,50 ltr)...my box that i have for my sub was made for that sub (exact specifications, its a 43.7ltr box)...i would like to know though how many ltrs these boxes are and the actual depth...these will probably work well with the pioneer entry-mid level subs but for competition, etc. might not be the best option IMO (but i could be wrong)...also peter just wondering if the boxes were ported or slotted???

    Cheers

    Ryan

    PS: great looking product btw

Another thing, For all u guys where these enclosures are slightly to small (volume wise)for ur subs Consider packing with some more padding.

Def something to look at cause Pets work is smick :D

    Regards
    Trev

P.s I hope Pete offers some sort of porting option aswell :D

I have used this setup before

With some competition subs (DLS MW12 X2) and the SQ was F*^King great
(iI was running these sealed with polyfill)
I was originally intending these boxes to be sealed and putting some pollyfill in to "fool" the sub
But if you request it i can port them for specific people

It's also made more for practicallity I.e. Targa's

Yeah..top work, looks great..I will be after one too..not sure if I will get the two, as I only have the one sub at the moment, but I do like symmetry lol..guess it would be a fortune to ship though

    What im lead to believe.

All car subs sound better with the boot open. Its because the cabin cant support really low frequencies (physics says so). What you normally hear when say 20hz is played is the harmonic distortion.

I had a low distortion sub in my mazda 3, with the windows up you couldn't hear the low bass much at all. As soon as you wound the windows down the bass became more significant.
