Those are stock sized rotors. The ones here are actually bigger by ~40mm. I'm not a fan of cross drilled rotors either. Sure they look cool, but they have a tendancy to crack

Does anyone know if the stock space saver will fit over the GB kit?

Here's a pic of deflectors fitted to John's car, the group buy ones are a bit nicer though in terms of finish. Yes they fit with upgraded rotors. We know they work because back to back tests with the heat gun prove it :D

Yep if you have the money GTR brembo calipers and GTR rotors would be nice.

Alternatively for under $600 you can have a very effective upgrade with good pad/rotor coverage IF you use the correct pad. Upgrading the calipers is always an option down the track which is what I plan to do.

with the delfectors are they gonna have any effect if there isnt any direct ducting going 2 the rotor?

Not ADR compliant, neither are pod filters, aftermarket dump pipes, vented hoods, etc etc

Not quite I know of cars that have been engineered with this same kit.

As above those are for stock sized rotors and cross drilled is a big no-no (even DBA say so) for track use.

The kit on offer here will allow you to run bigger rotors which will dissipate more heat than stock sized rotors.

    Hey Rob,
    Just transfered my deposit.

Just to confirm, the braided lines are simply a case of removing the old rubber line and putting in the new braided line and then bleed the brakes. So I don't need any other fittings or anything to get the new lines to fit?
Also, are they the same length as the stock ones? So if I route them the same way as the stock lines I should be fine, or is there a specific way I'm supposed to route them to avoid hitting/rubbing against any suspension parts?

    Thanks Rob :)

    Need a few more

    for the Brake Upgrade, guys.

Rob: what's the price if we don't get enough takers?

Mate everything you need is included and they will fit up in the stock location with NO problems.

Retail is $795, less forum discount would be $715. Any more than that will require some arm twisting but we'll deal with that when we come up to it... Worst case if I can't get it down to an acceptable price for you then your deposit comes straight back to you.

    Thanks, Rob

It's just that I'm getting itchy to have them on ol Blackie and I don't see too many others coming forward.

C'mon guys, it's a great buy. Get with it. There must be three more people out there who want their car to stop and look good doing it, surely.

Rob, I'd like to put a time limit

for my order. If we can't get 5 people for the brake upgrade by two weeks from now I'll pull out and go it alone.

Don't mean to offend, but we have to be realistic - we may hang on for months trying to make the 5 and I want to move earlier than that.

    Regards,

    Wal F
