Car is up and running Currently have 62mm throttle bodies on trigger crank setup ID 1700cc injectors Just had a run in tune nothing aggressive at around 21psi. Will be putting about 500 - 1000 kms on it and upgrading to new mufflers to get it breathing better as current ones are restrictive at my power level. Then a final tune . so far the crank trigger signal is like a drawn line with no filtering on Haltech . be good to see it on full boost.
Modified my Ross race damper with a 12 tooth disc using a GT101 Hall Effect sensor with custom made bracket 24 tooth cam angle sensor AEM Disc
Nice one! Were you having scatter issues before? Or just trying to keep ahead of it? I assume it takes more timing now with reliable positioning
Signal was a little rough .. now its like drawn line without the haltech filtering . Basically did it to improve it . My engine doesnt need aggressive timing as others do to make the power .
Hi Guys Havent been around much ..been too busy Snapped another cam last year so have removed VCT and now have 4 exhaust cams and 4 bde bullseye cam gears . have replaced my specialty Z mufflers with some custom hitech mufflers and new sebring tips and fit the 62mm throttlebodies . . . this was the last setup with boost coming on hard over 30 psi( dyno map couldn't read anymore) . . this first tune so far with gradual boost from haltech. much much more efficient! still running the GTX2863's
How many cam snaps is that now? Impressive numbers! So you think you only lots a few hundred rpm down low after removing VCT? Looking at nominal 20psi 4000 v 4300. Good result mate.
2nd intake cam yeah looks nominal when the boost comes on hard at 30psi it should be straight up to around 4500rpm
Geez you've had a bad run with cams. Looks like once the boost is up the power curve will come close to replicating the previous run. How does it feel minus the vct? Seriously considering this for the forgie for the slicktop with the hks2530s
will let you when I pick it up . Going to drive it to see how the gradual boost set up feels before turning it up.
