Maybe mm But you are forgetting its bolted to the Front bar as well . It's one firm solid unit. I can stand on it
All looks very good and functional, need to check the splitter and undertray angles slightly upward (Higher at the rear). Might be some competition for the SLOT CAR one day.
Now now boys don't go having a measuring competition you both have outstanding Zeds! I'm not sure the track is big enough for you both though haha
Using stillen type III skirts which squares of the seal panel a little more. It's Roll/Brush on floor polyurerthane to seal the timber ,then satin black engine enamel which I use for everything .
Love the zed mate, wish I had your time, money and most of all persistence and skills lol it's going to be a one of a kind, love every bit of it, fantastic work, outstanding dedication.
I was going to make something very similar to that splitter, was sussing out all the mounting points on the weekend. Are the sides mounted to the SMIC mounting bracket points on the rail?
uses 2 of the 3 tow hook bolts on each side. tow hooks are removed can't use the them with the front bar
If you really want a splitter I am selling the SIMTEC one I bought for the race car. Comes complete with a bar to cut up for it, $540. You could pick it up at the nationals. The freight for this was scarey. So you save a lot on that.
