    @Mclovin; Haha

This following concept was made by TG from Nico forums, the guy who did a burnout in his red widebody Zed after his wedding.

I call this concept the flare

    Better scaled here

I had planned on using this style for the longest time... one member referred to them as luxurious as an infiniti version of a Z32. making this design would cost pennies compared to anything else.

Another concept, they are Honda Accord coupe ones which I like because they look like animal ears.

These ones I will try to make for my custom Zed. The white lines over the taillights will be a chrome protective cage. 1:30 in the video

This conversion is just weird to me.

Sorry, but using other car parts on a car is wrong. Make sure after you've finished with your custom Z, you take all reference to Nissan off it.

The comparison you speak of is the '89 Ferrari Koenig, but the Fairlady Z32 also came out in '89. Logic tells me that it takes a couple of years to develop and manufacture a top line sports car, even though we are talking primarily about exterior, I still think that the shapes are coincidental based on the trends and aerodynamics of the day. How else could they both covertly introduce the same shape in the same year?

Back to the topic on hand. The tails on the Z are distinguished perfection, modification is just bastardry at it's worst. Bonnet shaping, nose panel mods, guard widening/venting, bumpers, mirrors, wings and wheels are all perfectly acceptable to change in order to personalise your Z, but when you touch those tails you may as well install a Kenworth windscreen while your at it, because thats about as much as it does asthetically.

I HAVE SPOKEN! I have spoken.

The Koen seems to be copied twice.

We see that it came out in 85 and the 89 Z looks like it.

Then again the more aerodynamic Koen comes out it 89 and is copied by the 99 Z make over.

It definitely shouldnt be labeled a Z anymore once its recognizable lights are changed but having Nissan on it should be okay in my opinion.

    I do?
I don't recall saying that, I know Nissan make some ugly cars. Would I buy one based on it looks & appeal, hell no. Hopefully you understand my point :zlove:

this is something I have been working on

So many hours of work and I think it's what Nissan should have done from the beginning. Merging the smooth flawless lines of the VN commodore to the harsh, rough edges of the Zed. I believe this could be perfection

you may have to cut it down a little more as you might not get a roadworthy as its a danger to bike riders

Anyone know where these lights are from, they look a bit skyline but I dont know.

Anyone have a contact for this guy -lol - would'nt mind asking him how he did it, I assume its a fibreglass mould and mount

    Spot on road eater.

When the new guy for nissan stepped in and plans for the R35 were being discussed he had only one rule. That the new R35 skyline MUST have the trademark circle tail lights.

    Tails make a car.

That picture is photoshop'd plus you cant put that on your car as I dont think you can find any legal housings that will adapt to that.

    Hi Jinx
Yeh - the lights have to be in the same position by RTA rules
so it wouldnt legally work but it does look good

mafi zeds pic is the pick of the lot so far, be hard to top those lights.
    Cheers

    g35 lights i think.
wouldn't work as the hatch would interrupt it. it's an awesome concept but you'd need to create a plastic mould 1 piece, and have the hatch fit onto it.
hell if you got thousands to spare go for it and then replicate and make a profit
