Hi Z lovers Changed my lights a few times now and still not happy, thinking of some custom ones like the skyline twin circles. There was a recent thread where there is a skyline rear set of lights on a 300zx, I cannot find it and have spent hours trying to??? Can anyone link the one Im talking about from memory, it was a few months ago? I'm also wondering just how he did, I figure he made a fibreglass mould and fitted them into it? Anyone got any ideas that would look great or tips, it has to be practical enough that it can be made. Has anyone seen a good set of custom lights that you can link? Hoping to get some varied opinions and end up with a cool looking set of brake lights. There so many opinions and choices so I figure everyone can help me with their opinions, it makes no difference what they are circles, squares, diamonds or rectangles etc the idea is too make them look good, particularly in the night. In this respect I think Leds will probably look better in the end. The stock Z lights are OK but I think there is better options, even two circles would look better I think, than the stock ones. Having said that I think altezza's look terrible unless their inset like on gonzo's Z, I have a set of these at the moment. They looked absolutely bloody awful when I put them in I ended up putting carbon fibre around them, which makes them look ok but not good enough to stay Also thinking of doing the front lights up a bit, love the lambo shape already, so I was thinking of adding angel eyes and audi strips - what do you think? Was thinking of getting my hubby to cut big holes then heat polish the edges then inlaying the skyline lights into the stock lights and glueing but might have to do a pic up first - as it might be a shocker as well. Anyway - give me a hand please as there are many different types of leds, bulbs varieties etc Whats the best design of lights you think would suit the 300zx? Whats the best set of brake/ indicator lights youv'e seen on a Z? Regards Linda
I have the ferrari look lights...haters going to hate...but i personally like it...i rememberthe thread about the skyline tail lights and i liked it too... If you are after something like that source a set of skyline lights for cheap maybe from ebay or even a local wrecker... I personally like the circlular design of lights on the zed and that is why i got the ferrari look set of tail lights...and i like it because in all the zed cruises ive been on...i have been the only one with the different style of lights people might hate the style but i like it because its different Goodluck, Abraham

Ferrari style tails make the rear look cheap. Those skyline ones are well done but it looks waaaaay to busy.
Yep.... I'm a hater of anything but 2k Spec. The 2K Spec lights are the best. LED is also fine, as long as the light looks like a normal zed light.
Yes - there the ones!!!! YES ______ that one HOW DID HE DO THAT - do you think???? I would like to leave out the orange piece and bring the two circles closer together - I'll do a photoshop job and post it here when its done Dont mind the MR2 ones either - sat there for a while thinking that looks like a Z - lol need more styles/ thoughts?? anyone Linda
that looks ok Like the centre panel part being bare, likely to be part of my final set regardless of pattern.
