53mm twin pass radiator

Another thing I thought of, it sucks that there's not more space in the zed cos I've always wanted to try a V mount setup with the radiator and intercooler. With a thermo you could probly slant the rad over a bit but alot of stuffing around I bet.

The problem with slanting is, unless you have a duct of some sort setup you're giving the radiator less cross section to the oncoming air.

 

Unfortunately they will not fit by just lowering the bracket as there is a chasis bracing bracket directly under the radiator mounts... I'm sure they would be good for other project type cars.... or an angle mount setup if removing the A/C condensor.

These are big suckers so I'm sure it will be able to cool down a 351 without any dramas...

 

I don't have the A/C condensor atm anyway (and won't ever again) so slanting it forward is a possibility. Will look into it, but will probably wait til the final product is ready

aww...spewen mate... guess ill be waiting for the next ones but i might be keen on getting one of these for my brothers ute project if you had one left.. these would be capable of cooling a V8 i would believe?

I've been holding off for this GB actually. If its going to be a while still, i'd like to buy something temporary to get the Z back on the road.

 

sorry to be the bearer of bad news but this isn't going to happen any time soon.... Another few weeks and I'll have my sencond prototype, then production will commence (around a months time).

Hey mate,

Well I don't think the group buy is a go at the moment as the design wasn't 100% the first time around, I'm getting the new design samples made at the moment and should have some more promising info at the end of the month.
