Exhaust manifold flanges for the VG30E/T and VG33E. Other than the bolt size I assume they would both be the same? Anway I'm looking for a source to use for custom headers. There is a place in NZ that does them for NZ$90, don't know what the postage would be.

    Any good sources in AU?

Muahaha... It doesn't read like that! :p

    lol

I dont know of anyone in Aus that does these, sounds like a good price to me. Postage wouldn't be much...

Just get a gasket and take it to a laser cutter. They will make them for you for not much $$. Most good exhaust shops would be able to organise this for you.

Forgot to mention that the kiwi place got back to me, NZ$100 plus postage. Probably will go with that, won't have to get off my arse :)

Laser cutting is fun, only requires a diagram and it does it all by itself :D

Ah that's not too big, will fit in the stock location easy.

VG33s are pretty rare, you get em where you can! ;)

Fit easy as, good 5mm between the chassis rail and the turbo. Gotta hook it all up and then just wait for the wastegate to come in. Should be good!

Nice! You've got to do something about your intake plenum aswell, MGP units are pretty decent...

I should really get around to gutting mine.. How much do the MGP's go for?

About $300 if I remember correctly, probably $100 in shipping. Pretty good really, would take a fair while machining yourself.

Has anyone tried making a complete new lower plenum?

I don't like the way the inlets are arranged, Electramotive with their race engines changed that by spreading them apart more. It does not look too difficult to do, although the water passages may complicate things, and of course a new matching upper plenum would be required as well.

I haven't seen it no, the closest thing Ive seen was an ITB setup on an NA but that takes alot of work.

What I've done is had the lower intake ported to shit, and then a gutted oem upper intake on top. What others have done is had a tapered log sheet metal plenum welded to the lower intake, and that seems to work good aswell. I like the idea of a one piece intake.

Turbos in and running, just dont have a wastegate yet. Took it for a drive, boost threshold is about 2300rpm and will reach 15psi by about 3300rpm. I havnt been able to gun it because it will go kablamo but feels really good. Comes on hard :D

Gotta get a few more tbolt clamps, silicon hose and weld a bit of tube on the intake piping for the PCV. Monsta turbo didnt explode or make wierd noises or anything, i dont see why people are scared of them... Wastegate is sitting at home so im gonna take care of that next week at work. Hopefully try to get a tune and head to Calder on friday :D

Thats good spool up, very good, is this a T70? Sounds like its a bit smaller than that.

Yeh, T70. It is a 3.3 litre so might be a bit quicker to spool than your average 3 litre. Rear housing is A/R.82.

Be interesting to see if it keeps making boost to the red line, I was thinking a 1.06 GT35R would be about right for a modified VG33, cams, bigger valves, etc.
