[VIC] GOR cruise goes off with a HUGE bang and a record turnout

Ahh yes but I spent ALL DAY sat working on my car BY MYSELF Since I didnt have my car ready Sunday was made a family day. I took Spencer to the creek to catch Yabbies, he had a ball :thumbup:

As for you parting out my car, I very much doubt it, that would require you to do work :bash:

well at least you made it to the end of the Tech day for about 10 mins and gets a few bits and pieces to bling up Still proud i had the only white car at the tech day and the only white zed on the cruise (at least at the start)

Now Stuey, How good would it make you feel if you just turned up and all the hard work was done ??

I know how unfulfilled that would be for you so I felt it is better to let you have all the glory and fix it yourself :thumbup:

 

Oh yea that sorta wore off 6 months ago I already went to one major event without my Zed, I reckon id cut my wrists if I saw all you guys driving your Zeds down the GOR and I had to be a passenger lol. So for my own safety I stayed at home.

Thoughts on the day.

Yeah I wouldn't mind doing them a bit more often.

My thoughts on the day were it was unreal, I could've kept going on. It was unreal being able to just open the taps a little later on. (There was no speeding obviouslly .)

I must say it was one of the best days, it was great that we didn't just go back down the same roads, every road was new. That doesn't mean I wouldn't want to do it again, just that the same long road seeing the same stuff over again on the same day.

Only really bad part I could find was the weather, and a few busses. But that was nothing major to me, weather wasn't that horrible, just would've been nice 5 degrees warmer.

What was everyone elses thoughts on the road? Goods and bads?

 

Tell me about it. Although it was an excellent cruise, driving the Celsior was a bit different to driving my zed. For a while there, seeing so many zeds made me think I was in mine and I nearly took a corner as fast as the zed in front of me. Lucky I realised I was driving the barge just before the corner came around.

Now I really can't wait to get my zed back on the road and join all you guys again.

the cruise was great, the twisties were great, the back way was great, the people were great, and best of all the cars looked great.

once the zed is back on the road, i gotta spend money on other things, don't I?

was good to see all you guys and girls again, and all those hot zed asses! kinda sad i didnt take mine we needed more black ones to show the reds how its done no matter, it would have been dragging its lazy NA butt all the way down the back. shame about the weather though, started off so well!

Well that was a great day..Even if I did about 10hrs of driving ...
Anyway since I was driving most of the time I didn't get too many photos, but Craig's got quite a few...

Was great to meet a few more zedders, however I do think that we did need a bit more time to stop and socialize..but the drive was fun..but at least I literally got to say "Hi/bye" to Chrispy..lol
