hi, Just wanted to get everyones opinions about the ferrari lights which are becoming ever popular. My old man has them (i do not). He, until recently has kept the original centre piece which looked way better in my opinion. Does anyone know where you can buy a kit for the flush mounted ones? Is it wrong in the sense your trying to make it something it's not? p.s thought it would be a good thread/debate to start.

look tacky agreed, yes i have them on mine but was bought that way, 2k spec lights = cream also dont think you'd get away with the coppers with nothing in
To each their own ... personally I like them To each their own ... personally I like them and I hate the OEM ones (and that was from the first day I sat in a Zed back at 1990 Sydney Motor Show), the 2000 ones only look slightly better. Instantly when I saw the 300zx, I wished it had circular tail lights like the 1968 Corvette or the 308 Ferrari that I use to make models of. So each to their own opinion... but to call something GAY is a bit offensive. Their are other things you can do to the looks of a zed that look a hell of a lot worst then circular tail lights; e.g. Veilside body kit So for those that like the look of circular tail lights on Zeds, here are mine ... those who don't then go enjoy your 22 inch bling wheels
love them....very nice and they arent tacky....especially on a black zed, they just match so nicely...but each tot heir own.....even if i hated them i would tell you to get them as we arent the ones driving your car...you are...its yours, so your opinion matters more....if you like them, get them
I doubt that you will see too many Ferrari's with Z32 tail lights. Why is that? Perhaps it's because most Ferrari owners would believe that maintaining the "Purity of the Marque" is a cardinal rule. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be observed in the same way by many Z32 owners. Total disregard for the integrity of the original design cues of the Nissan Z32 designers, is similar to cutting the sleeves off your Armani suit(and is the real reason Mexicans were invented). Ferrari lights belong on Ferrari's!
and you dont see too many lambos with 300zx headli....oh wait...thats not right the same goes for all the 300zx owners who own a ferrari look-a-like wing then ay
I'm unaware of any Lambo's that have had their factory-fitted headlights removed, and Z32 headlights substituted. You're right about the F40 wings(but I suppose that is slightly blurred by the Stillen 25th Anniversary "F40 look-a-like" wing).:zlove::zlove:

99% of zeds I have seen are not OEM 99% of zeds I have seen are not OEM ... lets face facts, no two zeds look the same. From different front bars, rear bars, bonnets, rear wing or brazilian, rims, rear centre panels, front centre panels, tail lights, side mirrors, body colour, interiors, different engines, upgraded this upgraded that. What Nissan has done is create one of the best "kit" cars there is. What greater complement to a designer then when someone takes your work and "personalizes" it, and in the zeds case these people often put their heart and sole into how they want to personalize it. For a designer it means that they feel something for your work and that they want to "contribute" to make it their own. If people don't really care about your design, then they just wont bother "contributing". How often do you see a Toyota Camry modified to look different from standard. So Chili when are you converting yours back to Factory appearance? If you don 't see the similarity of design in those wings, then there is little point in furthering this discussion(they only differ in detail, not style). There are several similar "Kit" wings based on the F40 design.
