As many ppl asked, i'll do another one for $250 a kit again and the due date is 1st of March. Any type, any colour, any car. Details please see the old topic.
I'm in... I'm in...finally. Thanks for organising another GB at the same price. Really appreciate it. I'll spread the word... Cheers Rob.
I'm considering doing all the front lights, high, low and foggies. However, is there a issue with foggies? I recall there was some rule that says they have to be yellow or something... If that's the case I'll leave them as is.
how much to change every light to the deepest blue you can? cept for maybe the foggies to like a lighter blue?
I was going to get some last time, But I wasn't too clear on a few points... 1- What is the best type (in blue) for illumination? I understood that 6000k were it, but if there are more powerful ones, wouldn't they be brighter? 2- Is there any fabrication needed to fit them? From what Pex said in another thread, they seem pretty much - wire them in and put the bulbs in. I'm 80% in for low beams in blue or white/blue.
if you want the lights for "wank" factor then go really high up the kelvin range. if you want them for light, then go something around 4000K. 6000k is probably a compromise of good light and a bit of "wank".
The Kelvin Value (aka 6000K) is not a measure of brightness, it is a measure of colour temperature. 5000K would be around the max for pure white, with 6000K gives that slight "light blue" colour, and still giving excellent visibility. I am happy with my 6000K, it bring a whole new enjoyment to night driving. Before the HID went in, if I had my headlights and fogs on, and then turned off my headlights, you would not even know they had been turned off. Now it is the other way around.
know what u mean ,i have been driving with just my fogs on and didnt realise it ,they are exactly the same as my headlights, but not after i put these in hopefully
