mine was 1k+ and WESTAIR is a good place to start. They say made in WA but im pretty sure they assemble them here and parts made in china. If you have 3 phase then your heaps better of but i dont have that yet . If your going to be toying around with you car and doing stuff yourself then they come in real handy. rattle gun is a god send aye. Keep the updates coming with the paint.
true that, at moment iv got one that i sprayed my car with b4 so it comes in handy a lot but im going to hire a bigger one this time for the outside paint and see how we go
Compressor Make sure you put a water trap on it . The compressor can blow water and oil through your line and contaminate your paint.
a water trap is a device which you attach to either the compressor end or gun end. It pretty much filters out moisture in the compressed air. Last thing you want is to have a droplet go through and onto your wet paint...
ah sweet its prob the same thing im putting on (inline filter). when i sprayed my first time i had no issues with oil or water coming out from the compressor but deff safe than sorry ey
probably, they look like a transparent bulb. with a tap to release the moisture. I do a bit of airbrushing and they are a must.
I can take a picture of the one I have installed on my compressor, but it looks almost exactly the same as this one: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AIR-COMPRESSOR-REGULATOR-OIL-WATER-SEPARATOR-FILTER-/140576427844 Every so often you just open the tap at the bottom (mine is a button you press). You'll get a few drops of water come out sometimes. MoulaZX
yes This is a good idea to have at the compressor end of the air hose and then a small inline filter on the gun end of the hose. Better safe than sorry :zlove: Andy
