The challenge only stands for the next week. It can't be running when we race. That wouldn't be fair.

    Crikey Skidz.
You put urself out there a lot dude!

Easy to get 100Hp/litre with just some easy bolt ons eh??? Oh come now, prove it.
Its actually fekkin hard and expensive and amounts to a few more bits than just a stock engine and a couple of everyday boltons.

Show the dyno slips V's the mods done. Dont go pulling Kw figures out of ur arse now.
I dont think you can actually.

M8, there are some seriously switched on and experienced tuners who participate on this forum who dont seem quite so keen to make such...errrr claims as far as how much power you can make with an NA with some easily added bolt ons.

Increases, expecially with regards to a tuned ECU are incremental at best.
    search back thru the forum.
Many dudes post their dyno results up with modded NA's and power levels are modestly good at best with all the mods you claim will deliver 300 Hp AT THE WHEELS.
Show us the actual proof or just continue languishing in your fantasy horsepower-land!

    CHILI Indestructable Target

I'll tell you what is wrong, 185kph on a public roadway during Xmas holiday period, with double penalties in most States.

    You are a @#%# MORON!

The next time one of you guys/gals gets nabbed by the police in what you feel is unfair targeting, spare a little thought of thanks for this dumb-ass.

Couldnt agree more. When you kill someone we'll see how cool you are mate. If you want to race... go to a bloody racetrack.

Ahhh yes.... well,,,,, harumph....... with a topic subject like this, its usually only a matter of time before the various street race anecdotes are predictably trotted out.

    Lol at some responses.
Yeah very not cool being silly on public roads expecialy at xmas.

    On the actual topic.

Just to clear up few things unbaised hopefully.
I dont like skylines expecialy r33 including gtr. I dont mind r32 and love the r32 gtr. Anyway its not what i dont like or do.

I have been lucky to work/drive and see what most nissan cars can do.

So whats quicker out of s13 to s15, r32 to r34 and z32 in stock form.

Out of the s series s15 is on top followed by s13 and s14

    R series gtst r32 first r34 than r33
Gtr depends on edition but newer ones were faster.

Now another thing some ppl say it feels faster. What feels and actualy is, its like saying day and night are same.

Now between s all rurbo manual vs r gtst the s will win. Simple fact they are lighter and power is not much different. Where r33 makes in power also adds quite a bit in lard.

Now i realy laugh (sorry to some na guys)
When they say their z32 na is quicker than r32 gtst.

For god sake back in the days 13 yrs ago when we had a street meet at AIR.my first ever outing on a strip. Had a ford telstar tx5 ghia v6 manual. Ligned up a aus spec manual z32. We were both track virgins and every time we lign up the ford/mazda comes out on top. 16.1 vs 16.3

Specs and motor mag at the time proved the same just quicker times.
Now for r32gtst vs na z32 is no contest r32 will wipe it dont care what u guys are sayin u did. If u did the r32 u raced is a bucket of crap. TT z32 vs r32 gtst will go down so would r33 and 34.

In moded form things can change quite a bit.

R32 gtst with bigger turbo and bolt on bits (still stock internals and cams)
Pulled 11.87@125mph at willowbank. Got video to prove. Not bad for a shitty rb20det.

Another r33 gtst also pulling 11sec with stock internals.

Mates s14 with stock tyres and clutch (car only done 8000km) just ic exhaust filter boost 17psi and c16 12.9 @118mph. Not too shabby.

Now what feels faster i think my z32 feels faster than any of them.not sure how quick z32 tt with 230+rwkw is on the strip but i know what 230rwkw rb20det r32 is.

On hind sight they are all fairly quick cars and not much slower/faster Gtr is on top of the food chain. R32 gtr 98% stock with 15psi boost via ebc and new clutch did 12s flat. Old JMS owners car.

But whats most important z32 looks and feels lot better than any of them.:zlove:
On the end of the day skyline is still a taxi. Bit like the monaro derived from a 4door mass produced family car.

But r vs z i want z always to win lol there goes my unbiasness through the window.

Thats really funny, because the last time i went to WSID, i had a good run against a mates R32 GTSt that had catback, pod & 12psi and all he could muster was a 15.1? Yet i still managed to blow his doors off with my slow NA slicktop.

PS: I don't hate skylines infact they're my favourite cars second to the Z32, hell, my dad use to own a 350rwkw R33 GTSt.

    rollin First 9

11.80 out of a GTST is nuts, thats far beyond the ability of 90% of gtst's on the road.

When did i say stock TT....

    i said....

full exhaust.... intake... and a chipped ecu...

    gentlemans agreement...japan...

    restriction of 300hp....

hence the ecu has many restrictions to limit power...

do the above, and obviously remove your egr etc ...

    and 400whp is easily achieveable.

Sorry ill link a post for reference...

    assuming you can read...

    http://www.automotiveforums.com/t419768-destroying_the_world_in_your_z32_tuning_tips.html

thats just one post of reference.... some of what he says i do not agree with an think his figures are off but you can make your own judgement. personally i think he is more discussing the USA spec as a TT here is arouns 280-300hp @the wheels factory.

fact is there are many z's here with massive power, and its easy to get...

you just have to not be a complete muppet...

ie emissions control alone saps 10% of your power

i'll slap my n/a on a dyno when its finished and see what it gets.

its essentially a stock engine, emissions stuff removed, t/b water bypass.

stock headers - with a 6-1 4 inch cat back. (which i suspect will show a torque loss on the dyno as it is intended for when i have built my TT but its the only exhaust i have so it will do the job for now)

i'm expecting around 210 ish @ the wheels in this trim i probably wont bother messing with the n/a's performance,

but if you want to go apeshit, headers...a chipped ecu, bigger t/b's, injector's, nismo fuel pump, twin afm set up and a UD pulley would probably sit me around the 240 -260 mark. then you can go cams, upped compression, couple of other bits and pieces and there is your 300whp on an n/a, its a fair bit of cash to lay down though, and i'd rather go vh or a built vg30dett if i was to go that extreme.

the power is there you just have to get it...

and as i said before in regards to the TT it is highly restricted due to gentlemans agreement, derestrict it some light mods and you can push some serious numbers...

we have had these cars here for over 20 years guys, alot of them, we do actually know how to tune cars believe it or not...

ie most people i know have 400-500hp cars...

another mate of mine has an r32 gtr pushing 610kw @ the wheels as a street car.

    kiwi ingenuity :D

210rwhp with just a catback? bring that car here and put it on the rollers and you wont see over 170rwhp guaranteed. My NA has a Exhaust from the front pipes back, pod, UDP and nistune(running a stock NA tune) and i'm on 180rwhp with a fairly healthy motor. With my extractors, camgears & tune i don't expect over 200rwhp.

i'm not going to agrue this back and forth, we have the cars here, they push the big numbers. come look at them if you want proof...

i said cat back as its easier to explain, as the downpipes are stock but there are straight through cobys in place of cats with all emissions removed.

also i made a stuff up in the last post and i cant edit it, i meant 290-300 @ the flywheel stock, which is pretty consistant with what the destroying the world link describers, although i think his power gains for the exhaust, ecu and intake are off personally

im struggling to understand how you guys are all pulling such rubbish HP figures from your cars.

    lol.........................

you guys are obviously doing something wrong....

EDIT: why would you bother with cam gears on stock cams? and also what emissions controls have you taken off or have you only removed the cats? what octane are you guys putting in? we all run 98 over here.

our dyno's don't read bullshit figures thats why.

your NZ 400rwhp bolt on z will read 300-340rwhp in aus.
your dyno's are obviously as bad as the Americans, i read a thread where they put the 550hp GTR onto the rollers and it came up with 530rwhp or something along those lines.

at the end of the day your 400rwhp z is going to run high 12's, and our 300rwhp z's will run the same times.
dyno's are only usefull for increasing your wang size and tuning, perhaps sheep have deep vaginas which is why you guys have such bs dyno readings
