    No one said anything about being a 3rd world country, its just the simple fact that if you brought one of those 210+rwhp NA's here you wouldn't crack 170-180 here. Also, i have a set of JWT S1 cams to go into my NA motor..... but i'll leave that for when i make a build thread ;)

    Me and my bois were talkin about how hot Wonder Woman is. Anyways, you know how she's in comics with Superman and stuff, and he's as "fast as a speeding bullet"...... well, I reckoned my car was as fast as a speeding bullet.

    I dont know much about guns and stuff, but do know that different bullets move faster than others.... so uhm.... yeah, I admitted its not as if its faster than ALL speeding bullets. So now, Ive bet my lemon scented glow in the dark fluffy dice against my mates Jetpilot seat covers, and Im kinda wondering what i can do to make my NA Auto faster?

    Im already doing the following stuff:-

    1. Inflating my tyres to 60psi, caus air is light, so it will make my car lighter.

    2. Turning my 2x15" subwooffas around to face the back. Reckon if I play something with lotsa bass, it will give me an extra kick, like NOZZZ. Thoughts? More what kinda songs have you had experience with to better your accelleration? Ive got the new Katie Perry CD, but am a bit embarrassed to play that with my mates watching.

    3. Folding my mirrors in. Why else would you be able to control them inside the car like that? Reminds me, gotta ask later if anybody has like hooked it up to their speedo, so at speeds above 200, they fold in automagically.

    4. Double points here- we're gonna do it soon, caus there wont be too many cars on the road in my neighbourhood, caus of the rain. Caus its wet, there will be more moisture in the air, and it will be colder, and i read somewhere that adds killerwasps for free.... and I dont wanna crash into anybody, or have them get shot or anything... lol

    Have I missed anything? I really like my fluffy dice, and I really like my mates seat covers too.



    .... about as f$cked up as everybody else lately wondering how fast their car can go.

    I see so all dyno's are calibrated the same and yes hit and miss they can be a bit off by upto say 5hp per 100...

    but all here are within about 5% of each other, and you are saying not one dyno here is set the same as the aussie ones, that is just not possible, given it is the same dyno machine, with calibration guidelines.

    by far one of the most ignorent posts i have ever seen.

    FIRST

    Mafi-Zed please read the post carefuly before commenting or sending me PMs about "learn to drive"

    as per original post i was driving a 1994 FORD TELSTAR TX5 v6 manual NOT a Z32. i was racing a GUY in a Manual Z32 NA..thats the fact....

    maybe u should find him and send him that link. cause obviously HE sucked at driving and needed to learn how to drive.

    as anyone will know first outing and pulling 16.1 in a mazda/ford is prety damn good effort for a P plater . Dont forget this was more than 13 years ago.

    I never owned a Z32 till 4 months ago when i bought a TT version.

    i did drive a auto Z32 NA and to me it sucked compared to s14 (performance wise, sorry if i offend any NA auto owners) . my S14 ran rings around it.which ain't a suprise.

    not only that when S14 was at its peak it also wiped a modifed Z32 2 Seater TT manual. not once but 3 times. the guy was a legend we talked about our cars, thumbs up and we went our ways. but thats a different story.



    SECOND

    to defence to Z32 NA manual.

    after i posted few days ago i tried searching for some credible info.

    in my box of 200+ magazines wheels, motor, hot4, fast fours and rotaries etc.........

    i found a 1996 wheels magazines. a 300zx comparison to subaru svx and some shitty citro.

    was going to scan and post the article here and also bit of information at the back of the magazine where it shows performance, price, economy etc...... but finding time is difficult.

    to my suprise Z32 NA manual 0-100kmh is 7.1 and 9.8L per 100km combined.

    so this 7.1 0-100 (sorry no 0-400m times) but that should eqauate to low to mid 15s pass.

    if these times are correct than Z32 NA should kill the R32 and R33 GTST. it will strugle against the S1X series cars as their time is posted 0-100 in 6.9s.

    im trying to find an article as well on road test of s14 in motor mag which had better 0-100 and 1/4mile times for S14. but this is not about s14.

    so my appologies to SRB-2NV any other members with NA manual Z32.

    i guess my experince against z32 NA was bit limited but i did say what happend.

    So to the driver of that Z32 that ligned me up at the AIR some 13 years ago. you suck and u gave bad vibes to me about the NA z32.

    when i get time i will link up a scan of the wheel magazine info on here.


    some interesting fact in this mag :rofl:

    listed price for 1996 Z32 manual was $82,560 and $87,255 for auto

    but if u bought a infinity 4.5 u would paid $147,000 what they worth now???

    also they tested r33 GTR. 0-100 in 5.6 sec and 400m 13.8s just if anyone wanted to know.

    but i will add i beat an s14 that had a gt2535 on 10psi with custom mani/ecu.
    he was auto, but i beat him quite severely when i had stock turbos and 16 psi
    i also beat an s15 with 220rwkw according to the owner, as well as an evo 6 with simular power from a roll on
    i got 13.6 @ 106mph on 10 psi and bald 18s, so no doubt i could've done high 12's when i had 16 psi and a tune with sticky rubber

    i have a video on youtube of me beating this s14 for the non believers

    I believe you. My s14 with stock turbo running 15psi beat one of those. But i also got wiped by one. Depends on many factors.

    But i guess s14 is different story. Had mine since 98 and still have it. Still original engine and turbo. Cant say that for clutches, gbox or diff. Its been detuned as my missus drives it now. Great car i never sell it.

    Lol yep. I couldn't really care for straight line speed anymore, it's so..... uninvolving and BORING. I'm currently in the market for an S2000 - I'm more than happy to give up a bit of Torque for tonnes of top end and double-wishboned, front-mid engined goodness. :)

    Well the Kiwi dyno's must be on the same wavelength as the US dyno's if that's the case. Trap speeds are a pretty good indication of power if I'm not mistaken.
