Was the PTU replacement tried before or after you reconnected the ground circuits?

Could be FPCU, that was dead on my Z, symptoms were kicking over just wouldn't start. The big give away was I couldn't hear the fuel pump priming when I turned the ignition.

    There is a tech bypass.

Earth strap was connected before we tried swapping anything around Ryan.

Yeah I've just finished reading that tech article actually. This is possible, tho you can hear the pump prime when you turn ignition on. I'll prob do the bypass anyway to be sure :(

Not FPCU, you have too much fuel!

Ztalk but I only suggested that to check the K-value but that should not matter since it was running OK earlier.

Did you get these insulators? You don't have a part number do you? I was suspicious of the condition of mine and would not mind putting in a new set.

Do you know if they are the same for TT and NA?

I have it on good authority that the part number is:
    16635-00004

    Thanks.

    AndyMac Better than you

I highly doubt that. You need combustion for a wideband to work.

Only a fancy Turbosmart one I'd rather you didn't taint with your stench of failure :p

If you didn't give that one to Bones you should hav one in the boot of your Mazda.

Ah but I did give it to Bones at the xmas party :( Turbosmart one will do :p lol

What about a gauge or some sort that'll tell us fuel pressure?

Im sorry for your troubles Mike, but have you been back over the wiring harness with a fresh look to see if everything is hooked back up , go over the whole loom (fuel temp switch, smaller earths near IAAC etc..)

    Cheers
