Hey guys, Just picked up the car today after being re-tuned with the Selin kit and 740cc Deatschwerek injectors. Came in at 400rwhp at 17psi. But some ****er rear ended me on the way home. 2 streets from the tuner! I was at an intersection turning left and he figured I'd gone already. Pics below: Opinions? Repairable? Write off? Paint matching? Getting a little worried
oh jesus christ! You just don't get a damned break. Unless you found a 1/4 cut I think they'd write it off.
Oh man that sucks! How bad is the damage on the inside? Did he manage to hit the chassis rail? Even if it is repairable insurance will probably write it off since our cars are worth so little and that would cost a pretty penny to fix.
I would say repairable...Jamesrss had a similar accident recently and got it fixed. Hope a nice zed like yours dont get written off. Abraham

Holly cow. Does that mongrel have insurance? Its bright red how did he not see it? Could be salvegable, but on todays prices the insurance Co. might write it off. Thats just not fair.
Most likely the insurance company will want to write it off. Unless you've got an agreed value, don't accept the offer they give you - you've every right to argue the car's value. Then, once you're at an acceptable figure, negotiate to buy the wreck & swap all the goodies to your next Z. Couldn't let those wheels go.... At damaged vehicle auctions - no one bids on Z32's. Written off and damaged - it's worth $800 at auction (on a good day!). All the best.

That's sh*thouse, to me that looks relatively superficial... How far are the chassis rails off the rear bumper, I can't remember.. Reckon it even touched them? Hoping for your sake it's a quarter panel, rear bar and 'cracked rear infill panel' or so. Good luck.

The most F'ed up shit I've seen this year! Not kewl, way not kewl. I don't wanna be mean, accidents do happen, but I hope the other car was worse than yours? I'd call repairable if you've got the passion.
That'll contest a bit of effort to get that right again. Buckled under the filler cap, thats a fair old shunt. Wouldnt be surprised if the damage has entered the rail. Lucky too that it all merely missed the hatch. Looks isolated to that crumple zone, but i still would be wary of what damage has drifted into the sub chassis. Did you get out and give the driver the 6. Your zed was looking so great and especially after all the hard yards youve taken to get it there. Furthermore, any joint and neck pains? Take a few days for your body to tell you whats sore. Whiplash injuries creep up on you when you least expect them and they're ever lasting. Keep us updated. Best of luck with it all.
Yeah I'm spewing dude. I was thinking the exact same thing about cutting a break. I'm assuming it's a write off also.
