    No worries guys.

Cant believe you have them already, i only sent them yesterday at lunch time !

Everyone please check everything is correct per the model you ordered.

The springs have numbers printed on them the .001 is the front and the .002 is the rear.

When putting the coil wrap on the springs, you are trying to avoid metal to metal contact.

So on the bottom of the spring you want it at the very end of the spring where the coil sits on the shock. The top has a rubber spring seat so the wrap isn't need at the very end but just below where it makes contact with the rubber between the more closely wound coils.

And don't forget to put your Eibach stickers on your front guard so you look like a fully sik racer. :D

Finally got the Eibach springs fitted to the car, previously I had the stock springs with ExcelG/GR2 shocks and stock sway bars, whilst the shocks improved things I thought it could be better, especially the noise and smoothness over medium road imperfections.

I must say I am pretty happy with the way it rides now, sounds and feels a lot more compliant, buy that I mean it seems to do what it should, control the wheel movement keeping the tyre in contact with the road even better and quiet a bit less noise, it just sounds and feels better.

Cornering is also much better, in the context of making the car comfortable and handle reasonably well I have put sway bars on hold for now, more testing required. :D Hard acceleration up sweeping freeway on ramps feels great no wishy washy roll, better turn in.

Big thanks to Trevor and Eric at a2zed, these guys have been with me all the way rebuilding this car and have been invaluable again in doing the work to a high level. Thanks guys ! :)

Just a couple of notes on install, you might have a bit of trouble getting the coil wrap to fit on the bottom seats, the springs fit very tightly and wouldn't allow the wrap to fit on the ExcelG shocks, so I just put it above the seat where the coils are closest.

The coils are "clocked differently, IE the tails are in the same position, the bottoms can only sit in the bottom shelf one way, so you need to clock the top. Before you disassemble, mark the position of the top hat where the 2 bolt mounts are with a reference to the shock it needs to be in the same position to allow easy re-fitment, if you are changing shocks just reference the bottom mount. When reassembling the top coil spring tail wont fall into the indent left by the stock springs in the rubber mount, rotate the hat and top rubber so the indent is around the other side, using your markings work out the right position, it may be approx 180 degrees out from the original position, the reason for moving the old indent around the other side is to allow the coil tail to meet a virgin part of the rubber, if you don't it may assemble in a skewed fashion.

Position your coil compressors only between the wider coils, if you put them between the tighter coils, you may have difficulty removing them when assembled.

I wish I had thought of it before, use the coil wrap to protect the springs if you don't wont to scratch them. :zlove:

    Hope this helps.

I noticed that too. I took the wrap off again, and even then I could not get the springs to touch the seats. Maybe that's why it's a bit squeeky now for the first few minutes on a drive.

Ride height with the new springs and shocks is pretty much stock - 67cm front and 68 cm at the back at the moment.

Ride quality is very good. Absorbs the bumps effortlessly and keeps the wheels on the ground. Not too soft, not too harsh. Just right as far as I'm concerned.

I needed to use a soft hammer to make then sit on the stand off and get the tail right in the notch.

If the tail isn't right in the notch it might have a bit of movement and squeak, hopefully they will settle in.

Hey Brisz, where did you source these from? I have eibach springs in my Aragosta's, and interested in knowing if it's possible to get replacements?
