What model you want is up to you, I have provided as much information as I can to help people make their own choice on this matter.

Don't stress about it too much there is still time before the order is made.

Just update the list if you want to change.

I will keep this open for 1 more week, see if we can find 3 more to make the numbers up.

Don't forget that I can provide KYB shocks to suit.

    We got enough participants?

based on the current number of participants, is it enought to justify going through with the order?

We are close, once the GB is closed I will negotiate with the supplier to see what can be done with the number we have committed.

OK guys getting close, need 2 more people to get on this to make it happen.

Don't forget I am including 2.5 meters of coil wrap to sweeten the deal, I can also supply KYB AGX/Excel-g/GR-2 shocks and get them do your door cheaper then anyone else.

Its close to XMAS, so wouldn't the missus like a set of springs, of coarse she would she would love them. :zlove:

Any one thinking about it and not sure and have some questions, post here or PM me.

I will also offering E-Go for local freight to also help keep the price down.

My car was a 2+2 NA Auto, but is now TT Manual. Which springs should I use? (may or may not make a difference)

Is there an option for lower springs than these??? maybe 30-40mm lower than stock?

  12. brisz

    brisz Well-Known Member

Not with Eibach, 20mm is the lowest.

I believe 20mm will still maintain a legal height ... just, don't hold me to that and appreciate others opinion also.

The other issue is that excessively lowering with adversely effect handling without doing significant modifications and changing of other suspension parts.

There are plenty of posts on here by very experienced people like Unique Zed and Tektrader, search these user names with "lower" and you find plenty of reading.

If you want to maintain a close to legal ride height, not adversely effect handling and gain a bit of looks, then these are the way to go.

There is also a noob named Steve Millen who used the same specs as the 6320.140 on the Stillen SMZ TT 2 seater model in the USA, I haven't been able to get confirmation that Stillen used Eibach but the specifications are as good as identical.

Is it entirely weight related? In which case I would use the TT 2+2 springs?

  14. brisz

    brisz Well-Known Member

It would be weight dependent as well as the distribution of that weight front to rear in various chassis, 2+2/2 Seater/Convertible/NA/Twin Turbo and combinations there of. Power, Model styling and differences in unsprung weight could also come into play, thicker/bigger and there fore heavier rotors and wheels etc etc.

I am in the middle of bringing together all the information I have and trying to understand the differences in the 2 spring sets, should have it finished tonight.

At the end of the day all this data comes down to choosing between 2 sets of springs, so far I haven't seen any thing blindingly obvious. Will let you know how I go.

As expected the time of year has created delays, supplier said they would try and ship in between Christmas and new year.

Will get an update in the next day or two, with something more solid.

    Thanks for the patience.

    Regards,

    John
