There has been interest in Eibach springs to go with the KYB shocks I have been doing.

Price by sea would be $299AU landed in Australia plus local freight/postage.

By sea from the USA would take about 10 weeks, I don't know if people are prepared to wait this long.

By air they would be here in a week and a bit, cost would be $329AU.

We would need 10 participants to get this off the ground.

Add yourself to the list with air or sea as preferred method of freight. I will be only doing one freight method, but would like to see what people think.

Ohhhhhh tempting. How long you going to keep this open for? what heights? And what its the coil wrap for?

See how it goes, probably 1-2 weeks.

Eibach list the drop as .8"/20mm all round.

The coil wrap is used as in the picture to reduce noise between the coil and the shock seat and where the coils may bind, top and bottom. Factory springs have tubes that are glued on and cant be reused.

I have 6320.140 put down as the model to buy. What's the difference to the 6319.140 ?

Thanks Stef, my bad, some how in my sleep deprived state I put the wrong model up, have updated the image to reflect the correct model. Thanks.

Just to clarify the 6320.140 set is the set sold in the US for the Turbo 2 seater model, and the 6319.140 model is for NA 2+2 and convertible.

Previously I have posted asking questions if the 2 seater turbo or the 2+2 NA set was the best for a JDM 2+2 Turbo. My conclusion from the replies was that the 2 seater turbo set was best, they are the same as the specifications used for the 95 Stillen SMZ turbo in the US.

For those interested here are the details:

Convertible & 2+2, Exclude Turbo Development date July 1990
    6319.140 Front 171-314 lbs/in Lower .8"/20mm
    Rear 143-228 lbs/in Lower .8"/20mm

Turbo 2 seater Development date January 1991
    6320.140 Front 183-251 lbs/in Lower .8"/20mm
    Rear 143-200 lbs/in Lower .8"/20mm

Although I have headlined this GB for the 6320.140, the 6319.140 as available at the same price, please note on your GB entry if you want the NA spec.

    Thanks again Stef. :)

Raheen I have gone with the 6320.140 mainly because its what is used in the Stillen SMZ and its later development date. Although the 2 seater and 2+2 has slightly different weight distribution front to back, I have taken the extra load of the R230 diff and turbos as the determining factor in choosing suitability for the 2+2 JDM TT.

Just an aside, is the 6320.140 fine to use on an NA 2+2? Just looking at the specs there's a bit of a difference on the spring rate but thats about it... Or am i better off going with the 6319.140?

I figure that I may as well go with the 2+2na springs, since they were designed in mind for my exact model.

i THINK member sandeep may have on his car... cant remember anyone else though... he was happy with them from memory.

Can i change mine to 2+2 NA? what ryzan said seems pretty logical seeing as tho they were designed for my car and all.

If any 350Z or 370Z owners are interested in Eibach, or any other Eibach springs let me know and i will detail specs and pricing for you.

While of the subject of height here is a little extra information.

So the question is what is stock height, I work with 675mm, this means the Eibach springs will take it down to about 655mm all round. Keep in mind if you measure your stock springs they may of sagged slightly from the 675mm stock height, and the full 20mm drop wont be realised from the sagged height.

The best information I have says that Eibach springs will give you approx 655mm wheel arch height all round.

Obviously these specs are based on stock tyres, change in wheel arch height would be 1/2 the overall diameter change from stock, which shouldn't be too much any way so probably not worth working it out. Pretty sure that's right. :p

This image is taken from a 1994 manual, page FA-27, the same information is in the 1996 manual, I accept this as correct for earlier cars.
