    So Chili you are still runing stock injectors?

    How many RWKW's can they supply?

    Yes, still using stock injectors.....I'm told that>

    around 300-320rwkw is possible with stocks, but only in ideal conditions (ie: Higher pressure Fuel Pump, Sard or Malpasi rising rate fuel regulation, after-market dump pipes, etc...)

    I found a post on the twinturbo.net from Z1 motor sports. They are fairly neutral actually as you can see. I then went to their site and found it quite impressive. I found a section for hp kits and for their big hp kit they recommend FMIC as an UPGRADE from their corner mounts. So ??? They don't make their own FMIC they sell Apollo which appear to be copies of ours and look the go. Not saying their biased but I know we are not. I could not seem to find a dyno section like ours or tests but maybe I could not see it? They also recommend a Z1 Chip for 800hp they lost me with that. Maybe they think FMIC is over kill for lower hp zeds. We know our FMIC is the go and so does Shifter and others with stock turbo's. But they do recommend FMIC is better for high hp so stay with your FMIC Zisluv. Game set and match.

    Some tough zeds with some big hp. Not much details and help me again if yiou can with link to details of the silver one, the bosses car I think with over 1000hp at wheels. I could not find.

    No idea why that was deleted...

    It was merely correcting Johns poor assumption from Z1
    Russel, who owns Z1, has clearly stated his position on ttnet. So have specialty z, SGP, and everyone else. They have all said that sidemounts are better. For John to post that they think otherwise when he has read the thread already is just promoting information he knows to be wrong.
    They (Z1, SGP, spec Z) will all clearly state if you ask them that they dont recommend a front mount until 600-650rwhp which no one here has. John knows this, he wont say otherwise on the US forums, only here.

    Call Phil at PWR if you want 0755 981 499 if you want independent specialist advice and as I said he is preparing his own 300ZX race car. He is busy so don't take too much of his time.
    I could not see where Z1 actually say better only on their site where for higher hp they say FMIC so? Am I missing something here?
    Yes side mounts are suitable for most applications and much better than stock corner mounts as I have always said, but I also say FMIC is better.
    Why would they not recommend FMIC on lower hp cars then? Maybe just not needed for lower hp cars? I might ad climate makes a difference in LA or Miami they would need bigger than New York.

    I will do the test first chance I get as in next zed on the dyno with no front bar. I could do mine but I guess we now agree that maybe too much power for corner mounts? Especially as now going bigger turbo's and more soon. I also need to clarify that changing intercoolers only may only make 5 rwkw depending on what power and set up car has, and depends on how many runs. If only a few runs in summer around 30 C ambient probably only make as I said 5rwkw if doing a lot more runs then more as we know the corner mounts temps go up to 60 C or over whilst FMIC prob only 45C. With bigger turbo's the difference would be more.

    Anyone want to place a bet???

    No need for me to ask Phil, I'l just stick with the advice from the 3 biggest and most experienced 300zx shops in the US thanks. I just ask that you dont post incorrect information on what they supposedly believe when they have put it in black and white already.

    That said Im still very interested in the results of your testing. Im always happy to change my mind if there is new proof.

    Now what would you say re this? Scared hey of the facts hey? But I would not say this at least not to most.
    I called Phil this morning to clarify and make sure and yes he confirms FMIC on Zed even with the inefficiencies of long core is definitely better than corner mounts for the reasons I have stated previous. By the way what do you think GTR's run with BIG HP same design core 600 by 300 by 65 up to 120mm thick. No option to run vertical core in their case though.
    Hey it seems someone get Zilsuv's login details this is not possible changing Zisluvs mind?? Like trying to go down the beach tomorrow and stop the waves coming in. I give you ten out of ten for persistence and consistency.
    Maybe it is something I cannot see again but where on ttnet does SGP and Specialty Zed clearly state their position? Z1 doesn't exactly and I will email them to clarify, I want to touch base with them anyway. Or is this another slight upgrade of what was actually said?

    You know John, it's OK for Zisluv who has nothing to lose but I wonder how much potential business you are losing from negative publicity ...

    A healthy discussion/debate is one thing (and I do enjoy and learn lots from these discussions in the beginning) but a three day old "mine's bigger than yours" slinging match is another...

    How about you heed your own and keep it tame too? I see a lot of you attacking Nathan on a personal level instead simply discussing the pros and cons of FMIC verses SMIC.

    1051 hp is insane! Surely it's a dyno only car?

    Not surprisingly I don't see a numberplate on that sucker. Impressed!
