Very cool! Do you have sizes & offsets of wheels and tyres that you can share? oh, and maybe some piccies too? :D

Ahh, you are right. After re-checking, they did only come with a 265 on a 10" rim (and a 245 on a 9" rim) standard...

Strange why they put a 265 on it, maybe clearance issues. Would love to see them on a 350z with 295/30.

Hey Benny can you check post #31 for me and let me know if i was correct about how you rolled the rear guards?

    Thanks Mate

mmm funny cause here it says your post is 29 and 31 is the one i quoted  are you viewing threaded or linear mode???

Threaded, lol i never knew you could change the view mode. I see what you mean it says #29 on linear and #31 on threaded,
I hate the linear mode you have to go through to much before you find what your looking for

i used to use threaded but now i use linear....

but yeah, all solved...#29 on linear and #31 on threaded...which is retarded imho lol....should be the same

Nope, only one cut right on the edge of where the fender ends and the plastic bumper bolts onto. You'll see the lip follows around from the wheel arch then back against the bumper. When you're rolling the guards, they will roll fine, and nice and tight - except when you come to this seam. That's why you need to cut through it so they can fold over top of themselves.

Nope, i only grinded back the seam at the back where it joins to the bumper (same join/area as the above quote). Once that join was nicely rolled, i then grinded back the seam toward the back of the car where the bumper bolts too. Not the actual rounded wheel "arch", but the one seam area.

So hard to explain. But if you are looking at the rear wheel on the passenger side, at about 2 o'clock where the metal fender finishes and the plastic bumper starts. That is the join area that i'm talking about for both above quotes.
Have a look under there and you'll see how it has a folded corner on the metal that won't fold back without separating that fold by cutting along it.

**EDIT** You can see the join that i'm talking about in the below pic. its the seam that's directly below the fuel filler cap. This is the join that fouls on the tyre if not done as i have above....

Thanks alot Benny, I knew you had to make a cut at that corner, but i thought you may have made another cut at 12 o'clock to help in rolling the guard.

Sorry but one last question, how far did you roll the guards on the part closer to the doors? If you are facing the rear passenger wheel did you roll it right around to 9 o'clock position or just 10 - rear bumper?

Hopefully i will spray my car towards the end of the year, depends how much money i got, its a bit difficult to afford all these mods at 19 and in uni :(

    Once again thanks Benny :)
    Regards Matt

Yep, about 9 oclock. You'll see that you actually start getting more clearance toward the front by probably 10 oclock, but i did to 9 just to be extra clear.

The main trouble you'll get will just be at the rear end where the bumper starts. You'll get there, it will all come clear when you start on it. :)

They look like shite, you should do yourself a favour and sell them to me as soon as you can, and get yourself a decent set of wheels;)

Its probably just to save money lol, you know how much they'd save by just spending less on tyres with the thousands of cars they sell with the wheels? :p

Skinnier tyres = a lot of money saving for a business :)

    Unreal!!

Those wheels look stunning Benny, good job in getting those!!!

Welcome back to the 5 spoke, 19" clubs mate haha :D

I will say, you might find a small problem that I have with mine, and thats where brake dust and other grit accumulates in some of the tight grooves and is a real prick to remove :(

Stunning transformation though, loving the new look!

All these numbers made my giggle to myself.

I got 225s on my 9.5" rims with no worries and they have a bit more stretch than yours do, so you don't HAVE to go bigger if you don't want to ;)

Also, I think the Advans were way hotter on your car  (sorry)
