VIC zed mountain run

hey guys.

after my first cruise last sunday up the freeway was such a great day i was thinking maybe we plan a new run now for a couple of months away?

i was think, maybe we do a moutain run up the dandenongs, stopping at sky high, then maybe come down and come along the black spur or something.

its jsut a random idea but i think it would be a great day. nothing better than seeing a zed fly up the moutainside.

let me know what u guys think.

if i can get my car up and running i will come.. but if i cant i will hop in a friends car and come anyway

Having done this very run with our normal bunch on here many,many times :zlove: ,may i suggest if you want to blast up the mountain,you better organise it at night
Should you wish to be stuck behind a bunch of dickhead tourists and moron bus drivers doing 40 kmh all the way up and down ,by all means do it during the day :zlove: :zlove:
If you do it at night ,im sure all the regulars will be there ,its much more challenging in the dark anyway
i will be more than happy to lead the way lol

 

I've got to come to one of these sky high runs. I know a very pretty girl who lives nearby, and she likes quick cars up mountians Might as well kill two birds with one stone

yeah im thinking a night run to simon.

i did it a couple weeks back at night with the show car "miswrex" who runs on 25 psi boost and a couple other mates who were in the subaru club running very hotted up rexs. very scary but very fun - try keeping up with a rex in the wet on a moutain lol. not fun!

but getting backyeah 40+ kmh up mt.dandanong is not worth our time, so a night sounds great. the only reason i suggested a day run is the posibility of a photo shoot at the top of the moutain, but its all up to u guys really.

like i said a couple months away would be ideal, say mid august?
jsut need to see who is interested.. so far we got 8..

Ive got him outside in the cold fitting a new clutch master cylinder,a new slave cylinder and a braided clutch line,so i can keep up to him so he says lol

aazn.i havent started this thread,so im not sure when this ones on,but my twisty runs are normally once a week probably restarting just after winter (SEPT),in summer we do them 2-3 times a week

 

dammm.. thats alot of runs... if ur car is as screwed as mine.. im pulling 350km per tank.. and its a NA
