It wasn't until after 1992/08 did the second stage of developments for the Z32 begin, so its possible depending on if you Z has velour interior etc etc if you have a first generation or series 1 or whatever Brisz will call it model.
wasn't the obdII only applicable to the US market? Small fractional differences in steering ratios aren't really what I would call a major selling point. As stated above, condition is rated significantly above, and rarely corresponds to year model. *Leather seats are a bonus, but rarely available anymore in anything above poor condition. *The suede interior option in my '93 is something different, but paired with the leather seats, and then compared to a later model full velour and I'd choose the latter. (hence why I've done a full conversion) *Series II climate is nice, but is virtually just a digital version of the old manual system (which was later re-introduced into the later models) Don't know about the "dropping of VCT". My '95 J-spec TT still has VCT, tho it doesn't have EGR. Unfortunately, a lot of information available is applicable to the US market, which has no relevance here. (AUSSPEC and JSPEC market) They did a wonderful thing with creating confusion with their "series". My '93 NA for example had- Series II Climate, but with non-airbag wheel. Series II Cams, but series I PTU, TPS, CAS and injectors
Is yours a ADM (Australia Delivered Model), I think some of the ADM models had really late part changes from the factory compared to the JDM and USDM models. Could be wrong though. and be careful using the term series OZX, you are confusing the forums with your terminology right brisz??
Only ever owned J-specs. My '93 is kind of an in-between model- S2 Cams, but S1 injectors, TPS, CAS, EGR fitted S2 Climate, but leather seats (tho both electric), non-airbag wheel. Suede interior, but leather console lid and leather arm rests on doors. The suede interior was a difficult option. Have only ever seen it in 1 other car over here, Murci's. Trying to find replacement trims at an acceptable price was impossible (door trims alone last went for $600 in Japan), so converted entire interior to velour.
I see very interesting, yeah impossible to tell why your Z has the options or parts fitted to it being a 93 model. I brought a used suede interior from Japan a few years back thinking it was velour, it had leather arm rest and leather console lid too and my research into the suede option which was limited mind you, was if you wanted leather seats you got suede trim with leather arm rest and console lid, if you wanted cloth you got velour. But I don't know anymore then that. How is your Z coming along, having seen you post anything in ages mate?
Don't get much time to drive it, working 3-1 roster and family overseas. Turn the key and drive it... and only pop the bonnet to check the fluid levels every now and then. Slowly refraining from pulling apart a perfectly running car, just to do something ultimately pointless and unnecessary... and I'm much happier for it
It's a s2. Has valour seats/trim. No mirror heater switch. Dual electric seats. Seat belts mounted in car. Climate control doesn't show outside temp and can select vents.
would be a bit concerned if the seatbelts were mounted outside the car Heated mirrors was never an Aus-spec of J-spec option
It was just standard on the convertibles I believe....not sure about the European and American models but it was on the J-Spec.
all good John, us Vert owners are happy to let all you 2+2 , 2+0 , TT, Slicktops , Targa Tops blow your own trumpets, because we know OUR CARS RULE
