    of course its genuine..

its all good, the zed is almost running. have faith!!!!

I can give you some other prices for various things, but I'm not sure what are good prices or what are about average if you ordered a few parts yourself...

    No correlation..

plenums are the things that sit on top of your engine, ecu's are in the passenger foot well and control most of the cars major systems.
injectors are the things under the plenum that give you a headache if they don't want to work, but all are very different things that are on your Z ;)

I'm not ashrashi guys, I have a few projects, I am self employed and one of few architects that have managed to get work after 7 years of education because I have my own drafting business.

business is business, money is money. if i had it, i could get a lot of stock into the country and pass on the savings to australian Z consumers. but I need to know what stock should be ordered and what will sell.

Haha, NO, its not damaged, I dont think the chip is setup right for my Z.

always the chip should be made up for individual cars, you cant just change injectors on the chip without also taking into account other things and adjusting fuel mapping and timing, but i'm not sure this chip was done right.

the ecu is chipped. I would not suggest using it as it is, but because it is already chipped it should be cheaper to get it remapped since a socket wouldnt need to be soldered in to the board.

thats my understanding of it anyway...

That's all well and good, Wayne, but when eclipse asked you about your sig, you answered him with your aspirations to import parts.

If you can't service injectors and remap ecu's, why are you advertising the services and calling yourself Geelong Z centre?

because geelong needs a Z centre.

its not just you guys out there, a lot of people in the area are running imported jap cars, and they don't know a lot about them. its a project, it would be good if it could happen, but I also don't have a lot of time to be running another business.

importing parts doesnt take up much time. as long as i know what to order, can advertise, people need teh stock, and when it arrives i have a room to store it until its picked up or sold, then the job is done.... the rest is just paperwork.

to be honest, the plenum painting and brake restoration is bullshit and i dont have the time to do it, but i made the sig up in about 5 minutes.

don't stress about it.. its not important. but getting parts into australia for reasonable prices is.. even for the 370 scene, and especially large items like body kits. if we had a local import centre than the australian market would be a lot better for it... and the australian Z scene would be a lot different and there would be a lot better parts running in your Zeds

WHAT?!? it's a ****ing standard TT manual program with TT fuel maps and ignition maps but set up for use with a NA fuel pump controller (2 speed). Plenty of people run this setup.

The ecu was socketed by Graham (TekTrader) and the chip was burnt by Brisz.

You're saying they "didn't do it properly" when you haven't even the faintest clue how an ECU works.

The ecu is fine, and you are going to NEED it to get your car running, so leave it in your godamn car and fix the ****ing injector like we told you a month ago when you came to get it.
