300s in general are already considered boats to everyone else who owns a japanese sports car, do we really need to squabble between ourselves too?

Just get whatever you want. Everyone has an opinion on everything, but none of them matter except yours. I wanted a 2+0, but I saw my 2+2 for sale with original recaros, decent wheels, good engine and one Australian owner, who personally imported it with all the documents. These credentials were enough to sway me to the 2+2 world. Personally these days I'd buy a black R35.

    This.

The differences are so small and the cars are so old now that the condition of the specific car you are looking at is far more important than 2 or 2+2 seats.

with a back seat you can get heaps of luggage in a 2+2... clearly never tried to go on holidays before in one...

Sharp,Stillan & Brock Z's racing in USA used the long wheel base 2+2 specs because it was found to be more stable at high speeds and under heavy bracking.I drive a 2+2 because I have a misses,a dog and grand kids!

Finding a really good Z takes preference over most other things.

I couldn't even fit 4 stockies in my 2+2 lol. Had to leave the last one at the wheelshop and go back for it.
I always think I can fit more in my boot than I really can..

thats because stock wheels are large and badly shaped... you dont go away for a week with circular suitcases do you?

Nor do you take 4 wheels worth of clothes...

I could always fit 2 decent duffle bags on the seats and then fold seats down and have heaps of space for eskys and shit.... never had an issue.

Yeah too right! who gives a sh*t....Reason for the purchase of my Zed was not based on seats, turbos or mods....infact I was looking for one without all these...thus what I have exactly today...no issues at all for 2 years due to such a good life its had and is still getting + more ;)

I do find it highly funny how other zed owners bag out other zeds! wtf is with that? There all zeds :zlove:

    I agree with this.

This really just comes down to what you need the zed for.

I'm a family guy, who was in the market for a second car. want my missus and daughter to cruise with me anywhere. something easy, something cheap, a little bit sporty and something fun.

hence my auspec 2+2 targa zed is perfect... for Me :)

The main key in buying any second hand car is finding that good, solid, reliable one.

I drove to Brisbane in my Zed once....and purchased a VG30dett engine (with Heads and Sump on) from Raheen,....
Since the engine was on his engine crane and i being too tight to hire a trailer, I convinced him to help me put the engine into the back of my zed.....he did not believe me at first,......we opened the hatch of my 2+2 and lowered/lifted the engine in and "viola"...i was away, hatch closed.

I've had go-go Girlpower in my 2+2 too, but that's another story.

I nearly tried that once. Glad I didn't. My girlfriend's Mirage took them all without too much complaint.
In other news, you can also put them in an Evo VI, if your heart desires. Just gotta watch out for the boot, which has very imposing hinges and some very exposed electronicy stuff.

its a 2+2 if you cant fit it all in the boot, thats what the +2 is for, i couldnt fit all 4 stockies in my boot so, into the +2 rear seats.
