I don't see "Z32" anywhere in that number. Sure it's a VIN number? look at the other VIN's that others have submitted, you should have a similar code that follows a similar trend of letters/numbers....?

Benny, do the vin numbers have a component factor BlackZX vin 6U90000GZ32001893 6U90000-G-Z32-0-01-89-3 (working from back) I am not sure what the 3 is 89-year. 01-month backwards, 0-colour z32-model Could you do a break down? Ford Vin numbers have a components meaning. Plant manufature, year ,month, colour ect... I might be WAY off the mark. Just asking.
This is a tough one. I still don't entirely understand it to be honest, but this is basically what i get from the digits.. Your Vin: 6U90000GZ32001893 I believe it's all in the characters from (in your case) GZ32001893. That's all i need to get your Zed's details. I believe the first part (GZ32) means NA. TT's are GCZ32. And the following numbers 001893 show what year and options it has, ie colour, interior, seats, transmission, and year of manufacture. (but i don't believe it's year is clearly stated as you mentioned, i think it's a production number/batch and FAST database has the record of that production number/batch as a month and year of manufacture. Like i said, please don't quote me on this, but this is just as i understand it. So hope it helps answer your question - at least somewhat. lol.
G= 2+2 C=Turbo eg GZ32 is NA 2+2 Z32 is NA 2+0 CZ32 is TT 2+0 GCZ32 is TT 2+2 I believe the convertibles might be HZ32 you can't read any dates off the number as it has to be unique to that specific car so incorporating dates into the vin wouldn't work unless nissan were making one car a month.

There is a pdf file with VIN numbers on the tech CD. It WAS also on the tech site, but that is since long broken. There is a (broken) link under 'VIN' very logically labelled 'pdf file' that lists VIN's month by month for all the (Jap built) models. How about a mod finds that file and puts it in a more prominent place so everybody can easily and quickly get an idea on when their car was built ??????????????????
