What have you done to your Zed today?

Mitch is the "bubble" the panels on either side of the fuel tank on the 2+0? if so i did take off the driver side one and it is defintely not there unless i am going blind LOL...

Plus even if i did how come there is no ABS light in my dash?

Must be ab early build 89 car if it has no abs. Have you had anyone check the vin on fast?

Nope...i havnt gotten anybody to check Nissan Fast

My rego and everything says 1992 and so does the import plate...

Which number do you need to check Nissan Fast? As mine is a j-spec...

Out of curiosity, on your brake booster in the engine bay do you have a huge ABS sticker?

 

Um which is the brake booster? The big circular thing on the firewall on the driver side of the engine bay? Sorry im not that savvy with everything mechanical

The year on your rego label could be indicative of the year of compliance.... you may need to change your signature

got fast working pretty sure - pm me your VIN

 

That's the one, between the firewall and the master cylinder.

If it was complied in '92 someone really really wanted a 2 seater, would have been very expensive and you coudl have walked in to any Nissan dealer and ordered a 2+2 to spec. Not even sure you could comply them then.

Seems like you make have a non ABS car though, nothing wrong with that, the people who have them tend to really like it. If you are really desperate for ABS I can probably sort out all the bits you need to retrofit it but it would be an expensive job and probably not worth it.

 

Dean's zed is also non ABS...so maybe it was an option they could remove?

I would be keen to get ABS installed on my zed...but does that mean mine isnt a 1992?

So i guess mine is actually 1992 yay LOL

But still doesnt make sense why i dont have ABS...i opened the fuse box in the engine bay...it has the slot for ABS but no fuse in there as it never had one there hence why i didnt put one there when i replaced all my fuses...

Nissan Fast says that mine is actually a 1992 model...so its no way a 89 model as as my rego and jap plate says 1992 aswell...

Ill try and get under the zed tommorow sometime and see if i can have a look at what you said...
