picked it up last night. chris (ezzupturbo) did an amazing job. I should be able to wind these up good on e85. just need to make a couple of little gaskets and all should be ok.

so how much power should you see out of these.....also, custom dumps required by the looks of things?

and PLEASE take the opportunity to ditch that egr while its sitting on the stand......youve got it disconnected anyway.......

thats just a mock up engine not mine. yeah custom dumps will be required but only the turbo outlet as both gates vent externally. I want to go 3" but not sure if it will fit so maybe 2.5".

want to see how fast I can go on stock turbos first with nitrous.

power I have no idea. guy has had these at 35psi and run 9.49 in manual so they can make power.

Started one, moved it to wash it and put it away. Washed the other and went for a spin :)

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

Some more wiring, started plumbing my chassis rails and got well into plastic welding my cam gear covers. First time I've touched those beaten up pieces of scrap in two years.

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

Still more wiring. More plastic welding on cam gear covers. Finished up smoothing my fan shroud.

Fitted my NEW OEM US 8.5" rear rims...

Finally they arrived brand spanking new. Fitted TOYO T1R's 245/45/16.
They look awesome compared to the 225/50/16. They are definitely wider.

Some interesting observations which surprised me: :)
    - The 8.5" rims actually stick out more toward the edge of the guard. In fact they sit almost flush with the guard.:D I had a feeling that they would have a -ve offset but +ve instead. Was not expecting that.
    - They are concave compared to the standard 7.5" rims. So front and rear rims actually look different
    - They increase the track of the Z's rear. It's very obvious.
    - They are very lightweight.
    - They make the rear look FATTER.:zlove::zlove:

A combination of good quality sticky rubber +wider track on a 2+2 should translate into a pretty good handling car IMO.

I LOVE THE NEW FATTER OEM LOOK!!!!

Pics? Want to see. Didnt think you liked fan shrouds?

Pics are coming when they're both done :) I don't, but they're a necessity on a TT in Australia. If I try the e-fan thing it won't be for a while.

I thought you'd be planned to relocated the radaitor to the boot so the engine bay looks cleaner. :p;):D

Ha it's not about liking or disliking; the cooling system is designed to operate with a shroud -no two ways about it.

Ha trust me if I had confidence in an e-fan the radiator wouldn't be in the bay anymore.

You need to upload them to an image hosting site or grab the actual URL of the image
