    OK, More weather reports

Thought I would take the weather report for Perth airport and translate it for you guys!

As AHG is practically part of the international airport it should be as accurate as you can get!

    OK this means:
Report updated at 6:29PM Western Standard time on the 30th of May 2008
Terminal Area Forecast (within 5 miles of the aerodrome) for Perth made at 6:29PM Western Standard time on the 30th of May 2008 to predict from 8pm Western Standard time on the 30th till 8pm Western Standard time on the 31st
wind starts North Easterly at 8 knots with clear weather (not going to fully explain CAVOK its too big)
From 2am Western Standard time (now the 31st) the wind changes to Northerly at 10 knots, with light rain, scatered cloud (3/8's to 1/2 of the sky) at approx 1km high, with a layer of broken cloud (5/8's to 7/8's of the sky) at approx 2.7km high
then at 8am Western Standard time (still 31st) wind slips slightly more westerly and picks up to 20knots with gusts of up to 30 knots (yuk!) Plus the rain is no longer light, which means you can only see 4km away, and the cloud drops to broken at 200m with a completely overcast sky at just under a km high!
And it basically stays like that till 5pm Western Standard time when the wind will tend even more westerly but drop to around 14 knots

And if that isn't bad enough!
from 2am till 8am Western Standard time (31st) there will be additional showers of rain with low cloud which will bring visibility down to 5km and can hang around for up to 1/2 an hour at a time...

BUT HERE IS THE KICK IN THE ARSE...
There's also a 30% chance that from 8am to 8pm Western Standard time (31st) that there could be full blown thunderstorms of rain (for periods of 1/2 an hour at a time) with North Westerly winds at 25knots gusting to 45knots, rain so thick you can only see 2km's away normal cloud REALLY low, and big mean nasty thundery type clouds at about 1.3km high

EDIT: Oh yeah, temperature will sit around 15-17 degrees C and the pressure will drop as the day moves on!

A lot of info in that little text block hey?

Anyway, good thing there is lots of sheltered area at the venue eh? Only problem is that the shelter basically faces pretty close to northerly, so it might cop so serious wind... and hence rain :(

Oh well... conditions for the track are good at least!

    Catch you guys tomorrow!
