[VIC] EOI for Aus week BBQ

I plan to be there.......

Until at least 3pm unless it is stinking hot, blowing a gale or freezing cold.
I guess that means that Wykked will be there until that time too.....
Not sure if we will bring both cars, probably should just take the Zed as the poor gal hasn't been out in a while and the muzzy was on a cruise to williamstown last weekend.
Nice place to cruise to by the way, hint hint hint....
Will be looking forward to meeting you beachy and any other people we havn't met as yet.
PS: Don't worry about the bald head, there are a few of those.....

 

In the same boat, Mark. When I go out in the car, I just look for the pile of dirt in the carport, and the Zed is somewhere underneath The current sig pic is nothing compared to how it looks atm.

Blondie, I'm rostered to work Sat and Sun midnight, so I may (or may not) turn up depending on how I feel Sunday morning.

I'd love to come out and catch up with everyone again! I just got a promotion, so my roster may or may not have changed by that weekend I should find out by the end of the week if I can make it. Would love to show off the car after all the work Pete and Peter did for me

I won't be taking the Z to the bbq, so not a lot of point in me joining the cruise. I'm happy to go the lake and camp on a barbie if you wanted to cruise with the mob.

Neither of my Zeds is likely to be on the roads for a while - I nearly divorced both of them last year!!! After a turbo let go on the GOR cruise last year, I made a mistake and bought another Z which was on paper the best solution. In reality it tuned out to be a bad choice, so my Z activities are stymied for a while.

Target now is to have the newer one back running, racing, and showing by the time the NDSOC annual concourse comes around in November. Looking forward to having my baby amongst the Nissan Datsun throng on show at Southbank then.

We may not be taking the Zed as Wykked has been a bit slack and needs to do a few things on the gal.
Bit disappointed, but we'll see, we may be in the Muzzy.....

Yes, I've been slack. I haven't Done anything about getting the software redone now that the Border injectors are in. Bob gave me a quick tune to allow the car to drive around but it should be optimised. Before I do that I want to get rid of the BOVs that are on it and fit some Turbosmart recircs, which I still haven't purchased.

 

YES, a miracle has happened and I have a weekend free, so I'll be able to make it A perfect excuse to clean the car and give her a good run! Stamford Hotel here I come!

its about 500m from my house, so if I have enough petrol i'll come down

 

Guy's I expect to turn up around 10.30 with the new mufflers fitted I guess there is only one enterance into the place.
One Question coming from Altona, best run Eastern freeway or the tunnel and does the Eastern freeway now extend past Springvale road or do I have to still exit there to get onto the Hwy.-----------------BEACHY

 

If you are planning to meet us at the Stamford at 10.30 then you would be better coming ou the Monash and getting off at either the Wellington or Stud road exits. Both of those will take you past the Stamford. If you want to meet at the Lake then either The Eastern to Springvale Rd (it currently ends there) or any of a half dozen other routes will probably beem about as good as each other.

 

So who's looking to meet at the Stamford? I'm sure we'll have a few good opportunities for group photos I'll be driving up with Peter, it will be good to see a big turnout for the cruise to the lake
