V8 in Z

    Interesting. If it also has a lower centre of gravity, the handling would also sharpen up. If the torque is delivered earlier and more evenly, it might reduce a few oversteer issues too.

    I know Nismo used a few VH series engines in racing and they did ok.

    Also used them in the Indy cars for a few years too. 550hp NA destroked to 3.5L and a magnesium block :D

    And Simmo, Mzazworx in the states and a few head shops in NZ sell cam kits for the VH45's ;)

    I'd like to know those places in NZ! Mazworx only offers reground cams, and charges for cores...

    Search on Nico, there was at least 2 shops that I can remember. Can't remember names though :(

    I've never seen blanks available for the VH. I'm not sure what John Dixon did, I know he went to solid lifters and did throw a rocker a while ago so might have just been regrinds.
