Not a fan, that sound belongs in a Muscle Car. The 500ZX VH however, sounds bloody insane, loooove it! 2/3 of the fun is had with the noise it makes and that chev or whatever it is.. Sounds boring. The VH sounds beast.

VH45DE bored out and sleeved, ITBs, big cams, equal length extractors, dry sump among other things...

Sounds interesting but what does it do for weight and handling? Not critising. Just curious. With some extra weight in the front does it introduce some understeer??

 

Post some proof of that sound please.. If that makes that sound boring I need to see it..

its alloy, vg is cast iron.. the v8 is lighter

no way! that doesnt even sound like a v8 to me too revvy and high pitched.. gimme some lump.. [TIS][TIS]

 

yeh sounds way 2 high pitched at high revs... weird doesn't have the v8 rumble either. could be the audio distorting tho.

for the price i dont see why people bother with the vh45. when u can get a brand new crate motor l98 for less than 6k. makes more power off the bat than a vh, easy to mod and anyone can work on them... try going 2 any import shop and asking them for a VH45 cam upgrade kit... they will laugh at you !
