I am waiting for reply from HKS Japan ( Not China ) lol, to see if any left, although I think not. They are discontinued, they are complete kits with Dump pipes, hoses, studs, gaskets, instructions in Japanese, although has pics etc YES BARGAIN. To clarify on stock motor with cams and valve springs made around 360 rwkw.

Is it possible to put the 2 inch compressor outlet on these John?

Yes you can mod anything within reason and this would not be too hard.

I have received deposits for 5 and one ready to buy, being no 6 if more available. I am still waiting on HKS Japan to advise. They say there were 10 total and locating them and will advise.

Until I confirm availability, no orders will be taken but you can put your name down. As long as ready to back it up with funds, half up front and the rest on arrival in a few weeks I suspect.

Disregard that I have just heard from HKS that they are all sold out.

I'd want larger. I've seen a dyno for 676whp for these without the 2.5" intake system so 740s won't give you much (if any) headroom.

Thats 500rwkw! ... If mine breaks 380 I'll be super happy and delirious if she nudges 400. Should be fine on 740s for that power level I think.

exactly. injectors will be the absolute least of your worries at 500kw. you'd need 3k for the rest of the fuel system

out of curiosity, can someone please tell me if a stock 89TT fuel rail with JECS 750cc's will be up to the task of 350-400RWKW?

if not, what would be the most economical solution? (almost rebuild time now & saving every bit possible)

    cheers

I'll take mine to that dyno :p

    740cc IS FINE

most you will get with a BUILT engine and pump fuel is around 420- 430rwkw (aussie dyno)

slot car did 456rwkw (600rwhp)(with race fuel)

    Benny_C About as subtle as...

Yes that setup should be able to see you though to that power range. (with other appropriate supported mods of course).
Provided your stock fuel pump/regulator are in good nick and can supply for you. (a new OEM pump would eliminate a possibility of a tired 20 year old pump failing at that power level though, just to be safe)

i dont think you will do 400rwkw on a stock fuel system, the pump is fine, but the pipe diameter is too small in the pipes to teh rail

Going by this, that would mean the entire fuel supply line from the tank would have to be replaced with larger diameter hardpipes & hoses then, correct??

I've heard of at least a couple of people that have hit 400kw mark with stock fuel system & piping.

Even if you have to run new pipeing, it's not expensive.

Exactly I've got loads of fuel with bigger GT2871R and all the fruit and running 740 injectors.

500rwkw with GT2530s must be using the same dyno as ZISLUV :p

i find it very hard to belive Ben, is it all stock? teh piping to teh damper adn everything? some of those areas the pipe is squished down to 5mm.

I reckon your mad to chase that hp with a stock system, id want a surge tank, the lot

Shifter made 400+ with stock pipes but aftermarket reg, fuel rail, pump.

I'm with you though, no point doing half a job if you're going to do do it right with big lines, fittings, quality hose etc etc
