just overfilling the sump can make em blow large amounts of smoke, you need to invesitage where the oil is coming from, not necessarily turbo seals, but if the intercoller has oil in that line its terminal for turbos

I mean stuffed ones... And there's a lot due to the wrong people buying them lmao! When I was looking for mine a year ago I noticed this, and sort of made me worried and didn't want to get a dud do I opted for an NA.... I was really just going for looks more than performance

Could be a few things like Eric says.

The below two are from personal exp.

Check and maybe Drain the oil, and put in the correct amount , I drained nearly 6 litres from mine and that stopped a smoking issue.

Also, make sure you have a balance pipe connecting your two exhausts. mine had an intermittent smoking issue which was fixed by paying $80 to an exhaust shop to weld a balance pipe in after the cats.

Also, maybe check your PCV valves or reroute them , search for Benny Cs post on that one.

Where is the smoke coming from ? from the exhaust tips? how long until it starts smoking? if it takes a couple of minutes then i would look at the above first

    Just my 2c :br:

Oil under turbos can also be from...

The oil return lines connected to the bottom of the turbos. The paper gaskets can fail and do, even new ones. Been there done that several times. Oil drips down from there once it's hot. i used cork based gaskets to solve this problem.

If the turbos were rebuilt 5000kms ago there is no way they will be stuffed again. Unless if the shaft seals were not replaced with new ones. But who does that? Especially on these cars due to the effort rqd to remove the turbos.

I can also think of oil coming out of the rocker covers. After 20yrs the screws work loose and oil can seep past them and onto the block. When the engine on my car was out a few yrs back checked the screws on the rocker covers and they were loose. I was surprised:eek:

The easiest way to see if it is the turbos, it to remove the dump pipes and check for oil residue inside the exhaust housings where the impeller is.

And if it's turbos, the smoke screen happens when stationary after the engine is hot and oil has thinned.

    Good luck with it.

Confirmation is in just now!!! Turbo seals are indeed screwed... Thanks for all the suggestions guys, the ICs are full of oil as are the dumps!! Also has no power and the BOVs go off a different times. 2 days of daily driving and the oil is below half! Do I need more confirmation that it is the turbos? Could this be something else?
