VIC TRACK DAY - WINTON - Sunday SEPTEMBER 28th 2008

You are probably right. I am worried that my brakes wont fare well during those few weeks.

 

sounds great, but i actually want to do sandown first because they have instructors to drive with us and teach us a few things. the driving line, braking etc...i think it would be really good for me to get a few pointers from them before i hit the tracks on my own. looking forrward to hitting the winton track though

Adam, Thanks for the invite, you know that Chris will be along in his hairdresser?s car. But, I have had to put everything on hold for the next couple of months. IF, and it?s a big IF I get some spare time I?ll definitely allocate it to the track day, (save No. 5 please J ). I really need to get both E-Vades out on the track. The poor blue one is getting all the highway miles and is suffering from boredom. Whereas I am sure that I have the issues with the Track car now under control, so I?ll start putting down some serious lap times. Are you guys running a day in October, or November?

Seriously, guys I?ll voucher for the Tampermotorsport days. They are an absolute hoot, well run, and you get heaps of track time. I only know of a few that will do the entire day?s worth of sessions. Also, they are happy to jump in with you to help you out if you are a first timer

Maybe we could get enough people together to make a large aus300zx session of it. I am sure Adam would be happy to put all the Zeds in the same groups.

Our next track day will be Cup Day, 4th November I think it is. That is usually pretty big, and then we are planning a Christmas day on December 21. It will cost and extra $10 cause we are going to stop for a BBQ lunch and it will probably be on the short track.

I think it would be awesome to have enough Zeds there to put in the one session. Maybe aus300zx could use the Decmber day for their forum Christmas getting together or something?? just a thought.

Anyway the more Zeds to get Tampered the better!! lol

Please put me down for No.5 on both track days. Fantastic, I was worried that I would miss out on the last session. I am tipping I won't need a wetsuit for those days too .

Come on guys lets may the 4 Nov a day of it and look at the 21 Dec as a Xmas run. I am happy to run as the organiser for this. I can see two pre-tech days, and two cruises here. Andrew and Tony I know you guys will be in.... I even rope the hairdresser to come along (adam, he is crying that he can't do many more days as he needs to save for new tyres, flat spotted them at PI ? not sure how he has abs? ? , but I need new tyres on both cars so I think if your going to finish the year, do it on on the canvas :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin
