You honestly want us to tell you what we think?

Quite honestly, I think it's a crap idea. I'm not on my fulls yet either, but getting a TT is just stupid. Do you really think you wont get caught?

Think about it, what commitments do you have? Because I garauntee that you'll have to reconsider them once you get caught.

Why get a TT? So you can be the fastest P plater out there? Have fun wrapping yourself around a pole when you get the sudden, unexpected boost that an inexperienced driver really wouldn't know how to handle. How many stories have you heard on this forum regarding issues like this?

I'd love to hear what reasons you have to justify this decision. A N/A with a decent mod list will be able to achieve more then most P platers cars, there isn't a need to go TT IMO.

seriously, with no rego or rwc that will most likely mean a trip to your relevant state road government body. while you might get someone who won't see / know the turbos are there, you could get someone who knows that a boost gauge in the stock dash means a turbo or 2, and well sure you can picture what happens then.

Easily avoided if he gets his parents to rego the car?

Nor does it have "2+2 4 seater body" or "Ferrari style taillight lenses". What it does have is VICTORIAN Number Plates(on a car being sold by a guy in Raymond Terrace, NSW)????????

"STEP AWAY FROM THE CAR"(and run like Hell).:br:

    insurance

you won't be insured if you drive this car. even if you can bluff your way into insurance as soon as the insurance company checks out your car after you crashed into that 80,000$ Beamer they will void your policy. then you will be paying off the debt for the next 10 years and you will be driving a 1998 ugly blue corolla which you will also find hard to get insured by any reputable company considering your history.

Already getting a dodgy road worthy that isnt an issue.
It isnt 100% certain im buying its just the best one i can find.
Also it isnt to be the fastests P platers or to speed, i am an extremely good driver for multiple reasons and i dont hoon, tbh i just dont think we shouldnt be aloud to drive turbos after idiots hav ruind it for us.
I will also be getting an exception to drive one.
Also there is no pride in having an NA tbh sorry to say.

Now i simply wanted to get everyones opinion on the car it self so thats all im asking. He is giving it to me for 4k is it worth the value from what you can see. I will be getting it checked and test driving it my self to make sure

    Because...

Firstly, I dont trust that car. It reeks of dodgy. You will buy it, and then in a few months or years time you'll be on here trying to sell it because it needs work and you cant afford it.

Secondly, what you are doing is stupid. You want to drive a turbo? Fine, wait till your off your P's. The Police will rape you, and then bend you over again and rape you some more. And the insurance companies will be egging them on as they do it. Please explain how you will obtain an exemption?

And sorry to say, what makes you so special that you can bypass the laws and drive a car that you are not legally permitted to drive??

And there is no pride in driving an NA?? Man, you need to do some growing up. If my first car or while I was on my P's was an NA 300zx, I'd be loving life. I would worry less about your pride and consider the shit your about to get yourself into instead.

My bad, had you confused with someone else.

But i'd rethink what your doing mate, dailying a TT is asking for trouble... Yes I'm planning my TT conversion to happen this year, but it's not going to be my daily then.

Also the hoon comment, all you do is hoon lmao!

Plus you reversed into my fence... Extremely good drivers don't do that.

Mate I've seen you drive your NA, you treat it like shit.
Put you behind the wheel of a TT and we are all in for a laugh.

Take some driving lessons, stop being a red light racer and grow up bro.
Dodgy RWCs no longer exist stop talkin shit, new laws make it impossible and the car is a bunky. 4k is incredibly cheap and if you think it will be fine, your more of a retard than i first thought.

invest that money and wait until you can drive (not into fences) and off your p plates, which are there for a reason.

Have you driven a turbo car?

Its a hell of a lot different. Even though we p platers don't like the whole no turbo rules, I agree with it. just wait like everyone else, or even buy a tt and build it up for when your off them.

handling a turbocharged car by far isn't one of the easiest things to do. I drove my brothers tt gallant up in Queensland, put my foot down and the boost kicked in, if you did that around a corner well we would all be saying good bye to you, for good..

Amongst the hating there are important/relevant responses, a couple of people have pointed out things that don't match between description and pics, for starters no back seats but also a "stock" TT wouldn't have an N/A front bar or the described but not pictured tail lights.

Also that engine bay seems too clean for something that hasn't been rebuilt, but I have a pretty dirty Z
