How did it go guys! Sitting here at home pretty pissed off atm due the Zed. Blew the turbo to manifold gasket yesterday at the track, well it sounded like a VW on the way home. Not happy Jan. Spent the whole night pulling everything and putting new gasket back in (in an attempt to get on the dyno), only to kill a turbo to dump gasket at 2.00pm this arvo on the way to JP's. That was the last straw, so saw me doing a U turn and heading back up the hill. Apologies was looking forward to seeing everyone. Learnt one thing though, pulling a turbo with the engine in is a bitch, I have re-educated Mary on English swear words and my knuckles are stuffed. Cant wait to hear the results even though I was contemplating selling the bitch of a car today! Grrr. PS Rang John this arvo and apologised for the no show! MattB
Know exactly how you feel Matt. Spent all day removing the manifold, turbo and dump to fix a blown gasket between the head and manifold and I had help too. Have bleeding knuckles and not much sense of humour left. Was going to pull the motor but found it easier to jack up the engine and remove the engine mount and bracket to give some working space. Thankfully it was on the passenger side. How on earth did you get to that 4th bolt that holds the turbo to the manifold? Seemed impossible to me. Christ these cars keep you interested don't they. Turbo out Took the whole lot off Cliff and then unbolted it while in that stupid space. Got rid of engine mount etc etc . Mind you air tools make things easier to get around bends! Mate I have no humour left at all! Going to have a massage and acupunture in the morning will need it by then! MattB
Results here Matt. Nice one Shifter with 362.9, only to be topped by Tokyo Geoff (who was the record keeper LOL). There could be a leading digit problem there. I'm not sure what JP maxed out at, but it was over 400 when I left. btw I think the Godfather was running 9-10 psi not the 7 that I got credit for but a good result all the same with just pod filter and exhaust. Yeah mate just a coincidence. All I actually "own" is a 16 pack of toilet paper, and i'm down to the last roll......luckily, banks seem to love giving me money! hehehe So it's win win Had alot of fun there today. I really wanted to get a dyno run in, then get a back to back number when I get the front mount intercooler next month. Should be interesting to see the results. There was some nice looking zed's there today. Hope to do it again soon. And bring on a track day! Thanks to everyone who was involved including the helpful staff at UAS. Ben

Now I've checked the data carefully and I think all the figures seem accurate! yes mine happens to be very powerful but, how else could I explain spinning at Wakefield after approximately 300m! Surely not bad driving! It must have been the huge Flux Capacitor I bought off e bay the day for $39 Well done Shifter and JP but what about Ascension! That was an awesome figure too. Yeah no good at all looking at a car to swap with tomorrow so who knows steering clear of the 300s for a bit till i can afford to spend a bit more cash

Nice numbers Geoff....... Even after we deduct the mythical 1st digit you still have some healthy power, BIG improvement over your original motor (but then again Shifters starter motor produces more power than your other motor ) good to see some returns for all your effort Looks like you can add another title to your resume Geoff, after Japanese high priest you can now add Dyno Queen p.s A good scorer beats a good tuner anyday
