Its not that theirs something wrong .... with P platers, but as my friends dad used to say "young, dumb and full of cum"... We've all been on our P's and I think most of us can admit to doing stupid stuff at least once. Hell, I lost my license in my first year in my dads 626. So I think its a bit rich of us "oldies" to pick on P platers, but all we can do is try to share some of our experiences with you so hopefully you learn from them. Also, no matter what you say, you currently just dont have the driving experience that you will have in say 5 or 6 years time, and the zed is a wild beast to learn in, so be careful. Cheers

Agreed. In fact that is why there are power estricitons in Victoria (dunno about other states) because a kid driving like an idiot (and im not saying all of them do) in a 4cyl or standard 6cyl can potentially cause less damage to others, property and themsleves than in by all intents and pruposes a "race car". Realistically some cars should not be street cars at all....but they are. Just watch other people carefully thats the best advice an oldie like me can give. I have been in 3 write off accidents and all of them were from other people losing control or not watching and smashing in to me I on the other hand am still a rating 1 And although I do on occasion speed (as Ty can testify) and I am a slightly aggressive driver I have yet to get a speeding fine in over 10 years of driving and I attribute my success to watching other people. You know your capabilities but the possible dickheads behind the wheel behind you, infront of you and next to you may not Safe Drivin Z'rs :-Z p.s ill get off my pedestal now
P platers have them for 2 years in WA now. I know as I am a P plater my self, but only have 1 month left of my 2 years, and only just got my zed after very hard work. I knew what car I wanted I didn't want to waste my hard earned money on any other car on the market because frankly they just don't float my boat like a zed does I try to hide my P plates because of peoples views of P platers with performance cars, I am glad I am going to be off them soon so I won't have to worry about purposely being targeted by vandals because of being a P plater with a nice looking car, and the cops. All though I haven't been pulled over the by the cops yet in it, I have had some Nice long stares form them at traffic lights. But not all P platers are tools.

I'm on my P plates and wouldn't nightmare of doing that to my car.As for ricey-ness, erin and i have frequently spotted a white ford carpri, sporting a double louvered drift wing, plastic bonnet vents, underbody and in car neons, dragon decals on the doors and bonnet - we're hoing to get a picture of it one day, but we're always going the other way
