found this pic while checking out some pics of a local cruise.... unfortunatly this is a WA zed [image]http://www.antilag.com/events/c3/DSC00074.jpg[/image]its bad enough having a P plater driving a twin turbo zed.... without having some tool gaffer tape some 25hp speed stripes on one of the finest machines to come out of Japan!!why buy a zed?*shakes head* ::Risk::
Ha... well.... Risk... you havin a go at P platers owning a Zed? Granted I'm almost off my greens, but seriously man! I don't agree with the deadsh*ts putting tape strips on an otherwise nice machine but not all P platers are retards! Some people(myself included) genuinely love the Zed and don't just see it as a run-about 4 cyl. :-Z Cheers Grant.:-Z
It happened 1 month before I got my reds in 2001, basically puts a speed limit on different levels, eg: reds(90km/h on them for 1 year) greens(100km/h on those for 2 years) I only naturally assume that after the first year on greens that you can do 110km/h =) am I wrong? =) But yeah that's the story, it's BS but, ya have to live with it.
That's really bad x( The tard who did that to the mighty zed should be dragged out into the street and shot!!Seriously, doing this to any car is bad enough, but when it is done on a zed it just isn't funny :N( If I see that bloke on the next antilag cruise, I will ask him what his major malfunction is 8-} Cheers Rob
wots wrong with P platers?? wots wrong with us P platers driving our Twin turbo ZEDs???but i see your point with that guy what a stooge!
im not saying all P platers are retards BUT> in my opinion, P platers shouldnt be behind the wheel of a turbo car or a V8 for that matter.... well, to be honest with you.... alot of people shouldnt be driving turbos or v8's regardless of age In WA you get your P's for 1 year.... less than one years worth of driving experiance is no were near enough time in a car to know how to handle a twin turbo zed..... ::Risk::
Actually in WA the rules have changed You now have your P's for 2 years. And to get them you must pass your driving test. Then complete 25 hours of "log book" driving...meaning you have to note down when you drive, where, how many Km's...etc. Then once you have done that you have to do some computer simulation test thingy. My girlfriends bro is going through all the bullsh!t at the moment. Just wait to see what'll happen to learners after the L Plater crashed a new clubby and killed her whole family. Not good.Paul
I see your point, but in NSW P's are for 3 years plus the L's which are a minimum of 6 months, but yeah I agree that some people who have been driving for 10-20+ years can still not handle a turbocharged car, so I suppose that it's up to the individual but, I agree that 1 year is not that long to be "learning" to drive.Cheers, Grant :-Z
What do you expect check the >> dude standing behind it.. Obviously this his contibution to work for the dole!!})
3 words. "Lack of experiance" Not having a go at P platers. Hell almost all of us have had them.I just believe that when we had our P plates we all thought we were excellant drivers, as the years role on you tend to look back on those days and relise we wern't as good as we originally thought.Flame me all you want as I can guarantee in a few years time you will be saying the exact same thing I just said above.Cheers Andrew
Oh my, is that the tool pushing it in the background :?) Hope I see it cruising the streets, maybe if he had a look at one of our fine machines he might think twice about that shit ) 8-} x(
