The ones at work take upto 3 days or so as most of them are fully stuffed thats inside and out steam cleaned etc etc depends some can take one hour some can take 2 hours really depends but we got ones that can take a couple of weeks due to getting things done in the panel shop and what not... We get alot of car's which are that stuffed it can spend some time in the panelshop getting fixed...

For home use i would only charge about $100 i am not into over charging people... Detailing companys can charge between $150 upwards depends how the car is etc and what needs to be done... I take my time can take a whole day it depends on the car thats inside and out... I just enjoy detailing car's and keeping them nice and clean :) One thing i have never done is cut a car with air brushing on it.. But since your car has just been painted it shouldnt need a cut... a polish and wax most likey :)

Right now car's are not taking long at work due to not been able to use the high pressure washer so autowash for everything hehe so no cutting or polishing and the car's get very dirty on the yard and will stay like that till its sold...

What kind of swirls do you have??

swirls as in like buff marks or as in like spider web effect? spider web effect is a form of swirl which is done from washing the car etc...

Yeah take it to a place in townsville and see what they say... Get a qoute etc best thing you could do.. If its not so bad you could always give it ago yourself... Good luck with what ever you do mate i am sure if you take it to a place they will do a good job :)

    I've got a detailing question.

What's the best way of detailing the stone guard finish on our cars?
As probably know, if you attempt to polish or wax the stone guard areas on the zed they turn out like sh*t because it's very difficult to remove the excess polish or wax.

Might just have to get that stone guard crap removed one of these days.

There is not a best way to detail the stone guard... I dont really bother to try and detail it as its only to protect the bottom of the zed... You can if you wish to and yeah it is hard to remove the excess polish and wax... You could do it by hand but yeah if its leaving excess polish and wax not alot you can really do about it but try and get it off will take ages to do and a couple of 4 letter words but yeah it can be done.. Yeah i dont like it that much but if its going to do its job then i will keep mine on...
