the more you rev the less u hear the fan? maybe because the cars getting louder haha

 

the viscous fan clutch should stay engaged through the rev range, just engaged by heat, and definately engages while at idle too when warm enough. if your fan doesn't do this, then maybe your viscous clutch could be on it's way out.
