Short Shifter is in

    how the hell do you physically get the nut off the bolt thats not facing upright on the fulcrum stand? also i cannot get to the bolt holding the shifter in place either. my hands are to big :(

    Haha, I have a few scars on my hands. Pull it up as far as you can and you can get a spanner underneath to loosen the nut. Also, practice controlling a nut between the tips of your long and index fingers.

    yeah too bad if he was a car enthusiast. Could never do any mechanical work at all. But seriously you just lift the arm up as high as it can go before you start bending the chassis and just try and get a socket onto it? Also i dont have any vices so any idea on how to unscrew the shifter?

    i put a flat open ender on the bolt end,when u put it back together,flip the bolt around to make it easier to get off in the future

    I got mine in yesterday (had exams up until...).. It's all fine now except the nut and bolts that came with the set.. did anyone else have trouble with these? As if they weren't sized correctly or something? There was no chance of hand tightening them.. the one in the front-right position was fine but I haven't completely tightened up the back-left one... The bolt had a 14mm head, the nut was 13.. but yeah.. I'll probably pull off the console and give it another go tightening it... Is it meant to be like that? Lol..
