It would have to look sweet with that power curve! A/F is nice on his car!

any issues with the NA driveshaft trying to handle 401rwkw??

do you think it will be ok or will you replace it?? Isnt it a little weaker than the TT?? I could be wrong...

Probably be ok with street tyres.

The NA driveshafts are smaller/weaker than a TT but they are still pretty strong. Breaking driveshafts has more to do with "shock loading" than just power alone. A hard launch on a sticky dragstrip with drag radials might start to push the boundaries of the NA driveline's strength from what I have seen on twinturbo.net

Daily driving and the odd squirt now and then etc

should be okay. Dont want to try the drags or drifting with it though. I will be a guniea pig that will either proove or disproove that NA diffs and driveshafts etc are fine to leave on from TT conversions (for normal law abiding daily driving purposes). Cause if they hold up to 400kw, they should be fine for 200kw (they never failed when I was at around 270kw either) :)

So what are you going to use the car for?

No drag or drifting; track? skidpan?

You mention law abiding, so its not street....

Tell me its not going to be a dyno queen!

Weekend driver and sometimes daily driver

I suppose it cant be too law abiding due to 'excess acceleration' though. :) But have no desire to stay on the go pedal beyond the speed limit. (I guess it'll be all over real quick and wont have to put the foot down for too long :) But nice to cruise in. I'd also like to take it to a UAS track day as well for a few laps every now and then.

My other daily driver is a 3 cylinder 1 litre daihatsu charade and I swear must be only 20kw at the wheel or something crazy low. That thing I dont mind getting stuck through peakhour traffic. Still makes me laugh though just how SLOW the thing is and how it has trouble maintaining 80km/h at times unless I am in 3rd with foot to the floor!

    yes probably true.

those power numbers are nearing the upper limits for 555cc injectors. any issues with leaning out at higher rpms? what was the target a/f?
